Hugh Robb our Great Great Great Grandfather was born in Brechin, Angus, Scotland, he married our Great Great Great Grandmother Jane Ann Dorward born in Brechin, Angus, Scotland.They had seven children, James, Alexandre, Hugh, William, Isabella, Margaret,and David Robb
Our Great Great Great Grandfather Hugh Robb was a Farm labourer until he had an accident, then he worked at The East Mill Bleachfield where Mr. David Dalgetty was manager.
Our Great Great Great Grandmother Jane Ann Dorward was known to all as Granny Robb.

James Robb was killed in action during World War One on March 28, 1918, in Arras France, William Robb lost his leg in action during World War One.

David Robb Dalgetty our Great Grandfather was registered in Brechin, Angus, Scotland under the surname of Robb, changed to the surname of Dalgetty after he came to Canada. He and his mother Isabella Robb lived with his Grandparents Hugh Robb and Jane Ann Dorward in Brechin, Angus, Scotland until they came to Canada. Our Great Grandfather and his mother Isabella came to Canada in 1921, where they joined his father David Dalgetty in Wardlow, Alberta, Canada.
Isabella Robb and David Dalgetty our Great Great Great Grandparents were married March 9, 1921 in Canada. They had two more children who were both born in Canada, William Hugh, and Jane (Jean) Ann Isabella Dalgetty. Isabella (Robb) Dalgetty died April 1924, and was buried in the Berry Creek Cementery, shortly after her daughter was born.
