( G ) IN CONCLUSION
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Are people who claim to have been " slain in the Spirit " really born again ?  That is an issue which I cannot personally judge or conclude.  God knows whether such a person is saved or not.  However, what is clear is that the so called " slain in the Spirit " activity and experience has no scriptural foundation whatsoever.  Therefore, at the very least, the discerning Christian should be cautious about embracing such activity as being of God and approved of Him.  At best, an honest scriptural examination of the activity should be done by the Christian with the purpose to determine whether or not such activity has its' source in God or whether devilish forces are at work.  I cannot say that every individual who falls backwards in regard to a supposed " slain in the Spirit " experience is of devilish influence and origin.  In cases various and probably too numerous to appropriately and accurately determine, people who fall backward as far as the slain in the Spirit activity is concerned, do so out of a psychological expectation and pressure to physically act out the experience.  Or as has been occasionally reported, the minister praying for people in the prayer line actually pushes on the person and therefore it is the minister forcing the person being prayed for to fall backward to the ground.  In either case, deception is deception and falsehood is falsehood which does certainly open the door for Satan and his devil hosts to operate and thus foster the atmosphere of deception.  No person claiming to be born-again and Spirit filled should ever naively embrace any spiritual experience without cautious and honest scriptural examination.  Let the Christian reader not forget the ability of Satan and his perverted hosts to imposter the true workers and children of the Lord of Truth;

13.  For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14.  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15.  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
-  2 Corinthians 11:13-15

Since Satan and his deceitful hosts have this power of impersonation it is fair to conclude that they can mimic spiritual experiences which attempt to look and feel as if said experiences are of God;

9.  Even him, whose coming is after
the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10.  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. -  2 Thessalonians 2:9-10

Have the persons who claim to have been " slain in the Spirit " committed an unpardonable sin ?  No.  There is no evidence, scriptural or otherwise, which would support such a view.  If a person has claimed to have been " slain in the Spirit ", then such a person, if they truly wish to follow God and if they therefore are truly willing to make corrections and repentance in their lives according to Gods' instructive and life giving Word, then such a person can repent for having given themselves to a deception and falsehood and thereby receive the marvelous, faithful and just act of Gods' forgiveness and cleansing, ( 1 John 1:9 ).  There are very few unforgivable and unpardonable sins and faults.  Slain in the Spirit is a deception, but if confessed for the sin that it is ( unscripturally founded, a deceit ) and repented of, then such activity will be forgiven.
