About the Webmaster

Hmmm... I see one nosy person lurking around through my palantir. Should I tell that person about me? Well, I'm a nice elf, and I like friends, so I don't mind. :-)
I'm sure you know by now that I am not Legolas or Orlando Bloom, and that Legolas is just an online personality of mine. I have always admired Legolas since I read the Lord of the Rings when I was 13. (And trust me, that was long before I knew who in Middle-Earth Orlando Bloom was.)I wanted to be him ever since I got lost in the magical forests of Mirkwood, and I am now living my dream of being the Prince of Mirkwood himself! Then I saw a newspaper cutting of Orlando Bloom as Legolas, and I fell in love with Tolkien-lore again. Soon, I developed a liking for Mr Bloom, and that's why I'm working on the website that you're reading now. It's as simple as that.
My hobbies include maintaining Mirkwood, reading, writing anything from poems to stories, archery, and playing with my dog. I used to be active in sports, but ever since I dislocated my shoulder, I have not been able to run or do other things that require physical effort. I am ranked as a Corporal in the Malaysian Civil Defence Corps, and I specialise in First-Aid and Fire Fighting. However, I cannot get involved in these activities anymore, so I spend my time with the Civil Defence teaching courses.
This is my first website, and I am very proud of it. Hopefully, by the time the Return of the King comes onto our screens, we'll be able to see a Mirkwood as beautiful as Peter Jackson's Middle-Earth.
