Hey everybody! I'm glad that you've come to see me, future idol, Aino Minako a.k.a. Sailor V! I've been popular for years now as Sailor V. Virtually everyone knew who I was even before the rest of the Sailor Soldiers appeared. I was pretty experienced as a fighter of crime by the time we all met (I had already awakened as Sailor V when I was 13). In the year before I met up with Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter, I spent my time as Sailor V checking out the actions of an enemy who was spreading a lot of discord. I began to track the actions of the Dark Kingdom before the other sailors had awakened. I knew the enemy's goal was to find the Mystical Silver Crystal and rule the Earth as a planet of darkness. I also knew that I could never let that happen!

Once Artemis and I discovered the identities of the other four soldiers, we were able to use the Sailor V game at the Crown Game Center to train them. It worked really well too! Usagi was the first of the four to be discovered, and she really took to the game. She did well, and because of the training, her fighting skills improved pretty rapidly.

When I met up with Usagi, Ami, Makoto and Rei, I was a 14 year old student at Minato-ku Shiba Park Private Jr. High School. I currently live in Shiba Park with my mom and dad. My birthday is October 22nd and I'm a Libra, blood type B. My favorite color is yellow and my favorite jewel is topaz. I almost always wear a red ribbon in my hair, because once a boy I liked complemented me for my pretty hair and mentioned that it would look nice with a red ribbon in it. That was even before I became Sailor V, so it's been a long time, but I still think the ribbon looks nice, don't you? (Yes, I know, I'm wearing a black one in the party picture above. What can I say - black went better with the outfit!)

I love sports of all kinds, but my very favorite is volleyball. Before I became a soldier I used to be on the volleyball team and I played very regularly. I was really good at it, but unfortunately I don't have time to play anymore. I've got more important duties to attend to these days, like protecting the Moon Princess and keeping Earth safe from invasion by dark forces! Still, I'm a pretty typical high school student in many ways. I love boy watching (I'm always on the lookout for a potential boyfriend) and I'm an anime otaku! I also like to eat and have fun, but even I can't pig out like Usagi-chan!

In school, my least favorite subject is English and my favorite is physical education. Overall, I'm not a particularly strong student, but I do better than Usagi-chan (at least I can write kanji). My test scores aren't always the highest, and I don't like doing homework very much, but I manage to get by. I passed my high school entrance exams with the help of Ami-chan's tutoring, so that's what counts!

I was always an outsider before I met up with the other sailor soldiers. My classmates often thought that I was stuck up because I didn't have a lot of time to socialize with anyone. Now I really feel comfortable and happy with my friends. Being together with them is so important to me! I still remember when I first appeared to them, Usagi was really funny because she was so impressed with my popularity as the champion of justice! I was actually her idol! Plus, they were all surprised to find out that I was the Moon Princess... well, not really. Actually, my true role is the leader of the four inner soldiers who protect the Princess. You see, when I first met up with them I posed as the Moon Princess to throw the enemy off the track of the Mystical Silver Crystal. I knew that the real Princess Selenity was Usagi-chan, but at the time she hadn't yet fully recovered her memory. Anyway, that's another story...

Well, I'm late so I've got to run! I'm meeting Usagi-chan at Crown Game Center. We're going to play that awesome race car simulation game - it feels like real life and it's really lot's of fun! You should come by and play me sometime, betcha I'll win. Ha ha!
