The group of 16 was divided into the Morgan and Drake tribe and immediately sent overboard to go and barter in a village. At the village Rupert immediately started to play by stealing the Morgan tribe's shoes. Rupert was also made fun of by fellow Drake Burton and Lillian and Ryan S. bonded on Morgan. Drake won immunity and Nicole was voting off for plotting to soon.

While Morgan experienced a freezing night, Rupert was able to catch fish for Drake. Ryan S. tried to show his worth at the reward challenge but struggled and Drake won. As a twist the winning tribe also got to pillage something from the losing tribe. Sandra went to Morgan and took their tarp. Drake then won the immunity challenge and Morgan voted out weak Ryan S.

Lillian felt pressure after her friend, Ryan S, was voted out and it didn't do her any better when she lost yet another fishing hook. Meanwhile a huge fight occurred on Drake when Jon thought Sandra should sit out. Drake won both the reward and immunity challenge sending Morgan to tribal council again. Lillian the outside was voted out.

While Morgan suffered from their losses and the incoming tied, the members of Drake were ready to vote someone off. At the reward challenge, Osten had trouble swimming and Drake won the reward and finally found their buried treasure chest. Drake then threw the immunity challenge and Morgan was able to steal Rupert for a day. Drake blindsided Burton and voted him out.

Rupert helped the complaining Morgan Tribe and bringing fish. While Drake worried Rupert was divulging secrets of their tribe. Rupert helped Morgan win the reward challenge and returning to his tribe. Before the immunity challenge, Drake planned on Michelle faking to dislike the disgusting food. Michelle failing to do so and Drake losing, caused Michelle to be voted out.

Rupert's pet snake, Balboa died on Drake while Morgan had an encounter with a pelican. Drake won the immunity challenge and got a feast and Morgan won their third immunity challenge. Back at camp Trish tried to voted Rupert out because of his likeability between the tribes but when Rupert found out he was able to make an alliance to vote out Trish.

Returning from tribal council, Jon and Rupert got in a fight after Rupert got mad that Jon voted for him. The two tribes met at what they thought was a reward challenge, but actually the 6 voted off members came back to compete to come back in the game. The outcasts beat both Drake and Morgan sending each to tribal council. Drake voted off Shawn because he was lazy and Osten had to much and quit on his tribe.

At the Outcast Tribal Council, Burton and Lillian were voted back into the game and the two tribes merged into the Balboa Tribe. Burton and Rupert ended their differences, but Lillian still had resentment to Morgan tribe leader, Andrew. Burton won immunity, but he could give it to someone since he and Lillian had immunity and gave it to Rupert. Lillian sided with Drake and Andrew was voted out.

With Andrew gone, Ryan O. felt like he was in trouble and tried to make an alliance with Burton. Rupert won the reward challenge, but gave it to Burton after Burton had offered Rupert immunity. Burton however decided to bring Lillian with him on the trip. Rupert ended up winning immunity and at tribal council Ryan O. was voted out.

Burton and Jon weren't to happy at how powerful Rupert, Christa, and Sandra were and talked to Darrah and Tijuanna about flipping on them. Burton and Lillian won reward but Burton gave his away to Jon. At the reward, Jon got Lillian to side with him and Burton over Rupert. Burton won immunity and everyone but Rupert, Sandra, and Christa voted out Rupert.

Sandra returns from tribal council pissed and accidentally spilled the fish they were going to eat. The tribe blamed Christa. At the reward challenge, loved ones came, and Jon was shocked to hear his grandmother had passed away. The tribe let him win it was revealed it had been a lie. Darrah won immunity and Jon, Burton, and Lillian voted out Tijuanna with Sandra and Christa.

Christa and Sandra tried to get Darrah to help them vote out Jon and Darrah was just going to see what would happen. At the reward challenge the six were divided into two teams and Darrah, Lillian, and Jon won reward. Once returning to camp Burton and Jon reassured each other Christa was next. Darrah won immunity and sided with the two and Christa was voted out.

By herself, Sandra planned to sabotage the camp in order to stay in and Lillian's relationship with Jon and Burton weakened when they planned to voted for Darrah. Burton won reward and chose Jon to join him. Back at camp, Lillian told Darrah that Jon and Burton planned to vote her off and with Sandra planned to get out Burton. Darrah won immunity and Burton was voted out.

Jon realized that he was in trouble and convinced Darrah and Lillian to vote each other in order to keep him in. Lillian also convinced Sandra that Darrah was to strong. They convened for the immunity challenge and the jury played as a fifth player and beat out the four. Darrah was then voted out. The final three competed in a balance competition and Lillian won and surprisingly voted out Jon. Sandra then beat Lillian easily in the final vote.
