After getting home an hour ago from a mini vacation, I found a letter in the mail from my Congressman. I opened it and he writes that he's written to the IRS for documentation of my 1986 tax payments. He said that he would be in contact with me when he had my proof. I think I can finally stop holding my breath now. (smile)
