Traveling Again, Again In Memphis

Whenever I go far away I really go
far away. I find myself writing
more than ever, and thinking
clearly, as if getting away cleans
my mind.

People are so interesting before I
know them. In my mind
they are perfect, revolutionary, and beautiful,
like untested marxist ideas. As we get
to know eachother it becomes more
difficult to be so agreeable.

Maybe its because of the excessive "me
time" when I'm not involved
in daily routines, that I feel
fluids flowing in my body
and notice the things it tells me.
That it is healthy to keep moving,
my body keeps saying.
