ANNUAL LEAVE
Below are links to spreadsheets detailing annual leave entitlements by staff group.  These allow leave to be calculated either inclusive or exclusive of bank holidays.  All part time staff may now chose which way to have their leave calculated.  The option must apply for a full leave year unless the number of days an employee works is changed.  Where an employee opts for an inclusive calculation, one day is removed from their total leave for each bank holiday they take off that falls on a day which they would otherwise have worked.  Employees do not have the right to work on a bank holiday and must take it as leave if they are not required for duty.
The charts are based on the 9 bank holidays scheduled for 2001/2002.  Revised charts will be issued in 2002/2003 when there will be 8 bank holidays.
