| Angel Paws What are angels? They are celestial beings sent from heaven to guide, guard and protect us. There are so many people on this earth and so much work for these celestial beings, that God created special little animals to help out. We call them pets, heaven calls them " Angel Paws. " Think about this; who would lay down his life for you? Who is always at your side? Who loves you unconditionally, other than God, of course? Who guards your home, your car and your body when on those long walks? Who keeps you warm at night and gives you a nudge when it's time to wake? Who lets you know when it's time to eat? They make sure you get plently of nourishment. What would be my answer to all these questions? Well, it's "Angel Paws," of course. They don't have wings, cause they don't fly. And a halo would never fit. But the spirit of God is in their hearts, the spirit of love, the spirit of giving. ~ Author Unknown ~ |
| I Saw an Angel... I saw an angel today, oh what a vision to see. This beautiful angel sent only to me. My eyes filled with tears at this glorious sight, This angel so lovely made my heart feel so light. I held an angel today, in my hands it did rest Surely it had to be one of God's best. So soft, so tender, so fragile it seemed To hold such an angel was more than I dreamed. I kissed an angel today, I just couldn't resist As I looked at this sweetie I felt so much bliss My heart over poured with a feeling of love For this sweet little creature sent from Heaven above. I lost an angel today; I guess God had other plans This precious little life slipped right through my hands My heart felt so empty as tears fell from my eyes I didn't have the chance to say my good byes. | God Must Have Needed Another Angel...... Your start in life was at the hands of a cruel man. We found you and your siblings in five feet of snow with no mom to keep you warm. All of you were very, very cold. It was night and with no sun or warmth to behold we brought all of you home and nursed you back to health. I picked you to be my special one. I named you Angel, for like an angel you were sweet and you loved to snuggle next to me You made me laugh. When I would sit down, you would sit next to me and stick your nose under my arm, telling me to put my arm around your neck so you could get a hug, though most of the time you did not even have to ask for lots of hugs. You got hugs every time I was near you. I hope I gave you back those same gifts you gave me. When I threw the Frisbee for you and you would miss, I could not stand to scold you for missing it, but instead praised you for your effort to catch and bring it back. You loved your pool to relax and cool down in after playing Frisbee. I guess God needed you, for he took you way to soon. My Angel, I was able to save you from the cold, but in the end I could not save you from leaving me. I will never forget you. You were my traveling companion, the passenger seat was yours and so you shall be in my heart forever. I will never forget you as I loved my special Angel from when we first met and I always will love you. Until we meet again...... your Mommy Lorena |
