This Tsunami Bomb cd was featured on this website during the September and October 2001 issues. (it was so good i just had to run it double) Tsunami Bomb is a high energy female fronted punk band. The Invasion From Within was released in 2001 and includes lot of great "punk for pirates". they are now seriously one of my favourite bands ever!. For more info check out www.tsunamibomb.com

This Garbage cd was featured on this website during the November 2001 issue. If you dont know who Garbage is then you live on mars, in a hole, with your fingers jammed in your ears and your eyes shut. This is their 3rd cd, a little more techo-poppy than the others.
Highlights: androgyny (a great track all around), untouchable (great hook and riffs), cherry lips (radio friendly, but the lyrics guarantee to trip up those empty-headed teeny-boppers)
Rating: 7.5/10
This No Doubt cd was featured on this website during the Dec.-Jan. 2001/2 issue. My favourite band (duh!) is back with thier 5th album...i dont really know what to think of it! definitely new territory for No Doubt, a more pop radio friendly disc, but still some great songs!
Highlights: underneath it all (nice reggae-ska feel), in my head (great lyrics, funky little beat goin on), platinum blonde life (booyeah for the riffs and lyrics, this one rocks my socks!!)
Rating: 8/10

This P!nk cd was featured on this website during the Feb.-April. 2002 issue. Definitely not a "pop" album. P!nk tackles difficult issues like her father leaving her family when she was little and her own insecurities and self-doubts. It's easy to connect with her heart-felt lyrics sung with an absolutely AMAZING voice.
Highlights: Dont let me get me (rockish with a wonderful message), Get this party started (definitely danceable and happy), Lonely girl (shows off her incredible voice so well), My vietnam (acoustic masterpiece)
Rating: 8/10
This Weezer cd was featured on this website during the May.-June. 2002 issue. They're still the kings of geek rock! More rocked out and guitar riff driven than weezer's previous efforts, with a hint of modern punk rock flavour thrown in to attract new fans. A perfect summer album!  Another break through with the art of messy music.
Highlights: Dope nose (such a summer tune), Keep Fishin' (best song on the album, great riffs), Burnt Jamb (a sweet ska-ish song) , Slave (classic weezer sound)
Rating: 7.5/10
This Tuuli cd was featured on this website during the Oct.-Nov. 2002 issue.
A good break-up album, the lyrics are angst-filled and the music is ok but the album falls short of expectations with repetitive songs and shallow vocals. A little too pop-punk for my tastes, but Tuuli could be the next big rock group out of Canada
Highlights: Wake Up (bridge lyrics are cool), It's Over (first single)), Whipped (best song on the album, dark riffs and interesting vocals)
Rating: 6.5/10
