Moat Path is converted from a Victorian barn, and whilst maintaining the original features it is modern, light and airy. The decor is newly painted in neutral colours with pretty soft furnishing, ornaments and pictures. Many old timbers remain and there is a beautiful fireplace in the sitting rooms with a wood-burning stove to warm up the cooler evenings. The cottage overlooks it's own lawned garden and patio, complete with table and chairs.
Ground Floor
A large entrance hall links the front and back doors and a meandering corridor that leads you from room to room:
The large sitting room has double windows overlooking the garden. Two large comfortable sofas await your arrival.
A separate dining room seats six for dinner.
The new large kitchen is fully equipped with all the crockery/cutlery and cooking items you should need, (from wok to champagne glasses!) with a fridge/freezer, washer/drier and dishwasher and separate breakfast area seating six.
The twin and double bedrooms both overlook the garden and have suites of antique furniture .
The downstairs bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, toilet and basin; whilst there is a separate cloakroom in the entrance hall.
First Floor
The upstairs is partially set in the roof space, with storage under the eaves (or play hide-holes for children...) yet the width of this area and the light flooding in creates a very roomy area.
The upstairs twin room is spacious and ideal for young or old to create their own 'private' area.
The second bathroom has a bath, toilet and basin.
