The Law of Moses (Dt.5:31)

1. Two or Three witnesses needed to convict on any crime (Dt.19:15)

The commands, decrees, and laws against other gods

1.Have no other gods before me(Ex.20:3)
This is the first command the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to the whole assembly(Dt.5:22).

2. Mention no other gods (Ex.23:13)

3-4. Do not follow/bow down to other gods (Ex.23:24)

5. Break/Destroy every other god (Ex.23:24)

6. Make no covenant with them or their gods(Ex.23:32)

7. Worship no other god (Ex.34:14)

8. Do not eat their sacrifices (Ex.34:15)

9. Death for sacrificing to other gods (Ex.22:20)

10. Love the Lord with all your heart, soul and strength (Dt.6:5)

11-13. Fear/take oaths/serve the Lord only (Dt.6:13)

14. Do not test the Lord (Dt.6:16)

15. Keep commandments (Dt.6:17)

16. Do what is right (Dt.6:18)

17. Be blameless before the Lord (Dt.18:13)


The commands, decrees, and laws against idolatry

1. Make no images of any kind(Ex20:4)
This is the second command the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to the whole assembly (Dt.5:22).

2. Do not bow down or worship them (Ex.20:5)

3. Sacrifice no child to them (Lev.18:21)

4. Do not turn to them (Lev.18:21)

5. Do not set them up (Lev.18:21)

6. Do not be corrupted by them (Dt.4:16)

7. Do not be deceived by them (Dt.11:16)

8. Do not inquire about them (Dt.12:30)

9. Destroy all who worship them (Dt.13:1-18; 17:2-7)

The commands, decrees, and laws against blaspheme or irreverence

1. Do not misuse the name of the Lord (Ex.20:7)
This is the third command the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to the whole assembly (Dt.5:22).

2. Do not curse rulers (Ex.22:28)

3. Do not make oaths by God's name falsely (Lev.19:12)

4. Death for Blaspheme (Lev.24:10-16)

The commands, decrees, and laws regarding the weekly Sabbath

1. Remember to keep it holy (Ex.20:8)
This is the fourth command the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to the whole assembly (Dt.5:22).

2 The seventh day after six days of work is the weekly Sabbath (Ex.20:9-10)
The Sabbath day changed on the day of Firstfruits,the 8th day after Passover (Lev.23:15-16with Ex.20:9-10)

3. Do not cook on the Sabbath (Ex.16:23)

4. Stay at home (Ex.16:29)

5. Do not work on the Sabbath (Ex.20:10)
The following are not to work:
A) Parents
B) Children
C) Servants
D) Animals
E)Alien (non-Israelites)


6. Rest(Ex.23:12)

7. Observe the Sabbath. Whoever does any work on this day must be cut off (Ex.31:14)
lawful work,i.e. Priestly duties were excluded (Num.28:8-10).

8. Do not light a fire (Ex.35:3)
Fire for sacrifices were permitted (Num.28:9-10).

9. Sacrifice every Sabbath (Num.28:9-10)

10. Keep as a sign between me and Israel. A memorial of deliverance from slavery in Egypt (Ex.31:13-17~Dt.5:15)

Additional Sabbath Days

1. The 1st or Passover Day and the 7th Day-which ends the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Lev.23:5-8)

2. The Day of Pentecost (Lev.23:15-21)

3. Day of blowing Trumpets, Oct.1st of our calendar (Lev.23:24-25)

4. The Day of Atonement, Oct.10th of our calendar(Lev.23:26-32)

5. The 1st and 8th day of the Feast of Tabernacles, Oct.15th and 23rd of our calendar (Lev.23:33-44)

Year-long Sabbath for the land,vine and olive yards

1. Every seven years (Ex.23:10-11;Lev.25:1-7,18-24)

Two year-long Sabbath for the land, vine and olive yards

1. Every 50 years (Lev.25:8,11-12)

The commands, decrees, and laws:For parents and children

1. Honor you father and mother (Ex.20:12)
This is the fifth command the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to the whole assembly (Dt.5:22).

2. Death for attacking parents (Ex.21:15)

3. Death for cursing parents (Ex.21:17;Lev.20:9)

4. Rise/respect the elderly (Lev.19:32)

5. Parents to teach laws to children (Dt.6:6-7)

6. To tie commandments on hands and foreheads(Dt.6:8)

7. To write commandments on house door frames and gates (Dt.6:9)

8. To explain law origins and reason for keeping them (Dt.6:20-25)

9. To give a double portion to firstborn (Dt.21:17)

For divorce and remarriage

1. Allowed for indecency (Dt.24:1)

2. To write/give a certificate of divorce (Dt.24:1)

3. The indecent person to leave home (Dt.24:1)

4. Cannot remarry the indecent person again after been defiled (Dt.24:2-4)

For marrying

1.Parents of virgin keep proof of virginity(Dt.22:13-17)

2-4. Husband to be fined 100 shekles for false accusation/give to wife's father/must never divorce (Dt.22:18-19)

5. Death by stoning if not a virgin (Dt.22:20-21)

6. Bridegroom exempt from war or any other duty for a year (Dt.24:5)

7. Can marry a captive woman (Dt.21:10-11)

8-11.Shave head/trim nails/give new clothes/let mourn for a month before consummating the marriage (Dt.21:12-13)

12. Cannot sell or treat as a slave if marriage fails (Dt.21:14)

13. Multiple wives allowed (Dt.21:15)

14. But cannot show favoritism (Dt.21:16-17)

15.Cannot take wife's sister as a rival wife while wife is living (Lev.18:18)

16. Death to all involved by fire for marrying a woman and her mother (Lev.20:14)

17. Cannot marry father's wife (Dt.22:30)

For widows and orphans

1. Death for taking advantage (Ex.22:22-24)

2. Brother of widows husband to marry her if childless (Dt.25:5)

3. First son to carry dead brothers name (Dt.25:6)

4.Widow to spit in face in front of elders for refusing to marry (Dt.25:7-9)

5. This mans line to be called The Family of the Unsandaled for refusing (Dt.25:10)

Commands, decrees, and laws against killing

1. Shall not murder (Ex.20:13)
This is the sixth command the Lord proclaimed in aloud voice to the whole assembly (Dt.5:22).

2. Death for murder (Ex.21:12)

3. The avenger of blood to execute (Num.35:16-21)

4. Do not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer (Num.35:31)

5. No death penalty for killing unintentionally (Ex.21:13)

6. Assembly to judge (Num.35:22-24)

7. To send back to city of refuge until the death of high priest (Num.35:25)

8. Death for leaving city of refuge before the death of high priest (Num.35:26-29)

9. Do not accept a ransom for anyone who had fled the city of refuge (Num.35:32)

Commands, decrees and laws against sex crimes

1. Shall not commit adultery (Ex.20:14)
This is the seventh command the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to the whole assembly (Dt.5:22).

2. trial for suspicion of: (Num.5:11-30)

3. Both to be put to death for adultery (Lev.20:10-11;Dt.22:22)

4. Death to both for sleeping with a pledged city virgin (Dt.22:23-24)

5. Death to man only if rape in the country of a pledged virgin(Dt.22:25-27)

6-8. To marry if not a pledged virgin/pay bride-price of 50 shekles/to never divorce (Dt.22:28-29)

9. To pay the bride-price even if father refuses to allow marriage (Ex.22:16-17)

Sexual relationships with the following forbidden:

A. Close relatives (Lev.18:6)

B. Mother (Lev.18:7)

c. Father's wife (Lev.18:8)

D-F. Sister/father's or mother's daughter (Lev.18:9)

G-H. Son's daughter/daughter's daughter (Lev.18:10)

I. Daughter of father's wife born to your father (Lev.18:11)

J. Father's sister (Lev.18:12)

K. Mother's sister (Lev.18:13)

L. Father's aunt (Lev.18:14)

M. Daughter-in-law (Lev. 18:15)

N. Brother's wife (Lev.18:16)

O-Q Woman and daughter or her son's daughter or her daughter's daughter (Lev.18:17)

R. During a woman's monthly period (Lev.18:19)

S. Neighbor's wife (Lev.18:20)

T. sex with the same gender (Lev.18:22)

U. with animal's (Lev.18:23)

1. Death/childless for above crimes (Lev.18:24;20:10-21)

2. Don't make daughter into a prostitute (Lev.19:29)

3. No man or woman to be prostitutes (Dt.23:17)

4. Money made from prostitution not to be brought to the Lord your God (Dt.23:18)

Commands, decrees and laws against stealing

1. Shall not steal (Ex.20:15)
This is the eighth command the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to the whole assembly (Dt.5:22).

2. Death for kidnapping (Ex.21:16)

3. Ox thief to pay back five head of cattle for each ox killed (Ex.22:1)

4. Sheep thief to pay back four head of sheep for each sheep killed (Ex.22:1)

5. No penalty for killing a thief caught breaking in during the night (Ex.22:2-3)

6. Killing a thief caught breaking in during the day is a crime (Ex.22:3)

7. Thief to make restitution or sold to pay for theft (Ex.22:3)

8. Restitution of a live animal in thief's possession to be two for each animal (Ex.22:4)

9. Animal's grazing in another's land to make restitution from the best of his land (Ex.22:5)

10. Restitution for vandalism (Ex.22:6)

11. Double restitution of goods in trust if thief caught (Ex.22:7)

12. Inquest if thief not found to determine negligence (Ex.22:8)

13. Inquest in all cases of illegal possessions to determine who pays back double (Ex.22:9)

14. No restitution for livestock kept in trust that die or are injured or stolen when not looking [night] but an oath required (Ex.22:10-11)

15. Restitution of animal in trust if stolen (Ex.22:12)

16. No restitution for the death of an animal in trust by a wild animal, but proof must be presented (Ex.22:13)

17. Restitution for a borrowed animal if injured or dies if owner not present. If animal was hired, no extra charge (Ex.22:14-15)

18. Do not hold back wages of a hired man overnight (Lev.19:13)

Commands, decrees and laws against lying

1. Shall not give false testimony (Ex.20:16)
This is the ninth command the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to the whole assembly (Dt.5:22).

2. Penalty for false testimony to be as witness intended (Dt.19:16-21)

3. Do not spread false reports (Ex.23:1; Lev.19:16)

4. Have nothing to do with a false charge (Ex.23:7)

5. Do not accept a bribe (Ex.23:8)

6. Do not deceive one another (Lev.19:11)

Commands, decrees and laws against coveting

1. Shall not covet (Ex.20:17)
A)neighbor's house
B)neighbor's wife
C)neighbor's servants
D) neighbor's livestock
E) Any of neighbor's possessions
This is the tenth command the Lord proclaimed in a loud voice to the whole assembly (Dt.5:22).

2. Do not hold back offerings (Ex.22:29-30;13:2, 13-15)
A) From your granaries
B) Firstborn of your sons(on the 8th day-circumcised Lev.12:1-5)
B-1) Woman ceremonially unclean a total of 40 days for a boy, 80 days for a girl
B-2) To bring a year-old lamb for burnt offering/pigeon or dove for sin offering(Lev.12:6-7)
B-3) If poor to bring two doves or pigeons (Lev.12:8)
C) Firstborn of your cattle on the 8th day
D) Firstborn of your sheep on the 8th day

3. Redeem with lamb every firstborn donkey or break neck (Ex.13:13)

4. Or buy it back at its set value, adding 20% (Lev.27:27)

5. Or selling the animal, and fine owner 20% (Lev.27:27)

6. Redeem poor relatives land (Lev.25:23-25)

7. Redeem own land if able (Lev.25:26-27)

8. Return land year of Jubilee if not redeemed (Lev.25:28)

9. House in walled city can redeem with in a year or looses it permanently(Lev.25:29-30)

10. Houses in country can be redeemed whenever or returned Jubilee year (Lev.25:31)

11. Levites can always redeem in Levitical towns or returned Jubilee year (Lev.25:32-33)

12. Levitical pastureland belonging to town cannot be sold (Lev.25:34)

13-16. Help support the poor/don't charge interest to countrymen/don't treat as slave if he becomes one/ release in Jubilee year(Lev.25:35-43)

17. Foreign slaves can be for life (Lev.25:44-46)

18. Israelite slaves to temporary residents can be redeemed or set free Jubilee year(Lev.25:47-55)

vows

1. To dedicate males 20-60 years old charge 50 shekels/ females 30 (Lev.27:1-4)

2. To dedicate males 5-20 years old charge 20 shekels/ females 10 shekels(Lev.27:5)

3. To dedicate males 1 month-5 years charge 5 shekels/ females 3 shekels (Lev.27:6)

4. To dedicate males 60+ years charge 15 shekels/ females 10 shekels (Lev.27:7)

5. Priest to set price for those who can't afford the specified amount (Lev.27:8)

6. Can dedicate animals, house or land/are redeemable adding 20%(Lev.27:9-25)

7. But nothing a man owns and devotes may be sold or redeemed(Lev.27:28)

8. Those under the penalty of death cannot be redeemed (Lev. 27:29)

9. A tithe of everything from the land and flock set at 10%/ can redeem at worth plus 20% but no substitutions(Lev.27:30-34)

Special vows

1. As a Nazirite: abstain from fermented drinks, grapes (Num.6:1-4)

2. No haircuts during the entire period of vow (Num.6:5)

3. Not to go near the dead (Num.6:6-8)

4. Accidental death in presence: must shave after ceremonial cleansing of seven days/ bring the eighth day 2 doves or pigeons for offering/must re-dedicate by offering year-old male lamb (Num.6:9-12)

5. Ending Nazirite vow: present year-old male lamb, a ram, grain and drink offerings, and basket of bread without yeast. Shave hair and put in fire. Can have portion of offering and can drink wine. (Num.6:13-21)

1. Vow made by a man must be kept (Num.30:2)

2. Vow made by young woman can be nullified by father (Num.30:3-5)

3. Husband can nullify rash vow (Num.30:6-8) 4. Vow made by widow or divorced woman binding (Num.30:9)

5. Husband can nullify vow within a reasonable time period or bare her guilt (Num.30:10-16)

Exclusion from the Assembly

1. Emasculated man (Dt.23:1)

2. Illegitimate children and their descendants to the tenth generation (Dt. 23:2)

3. Ammorite or Moabite or their descendants to the tenth generation (Dt.23:3-6)

4. Edomites and Egyptians to the third generation (Dt.23:7-8)

1. Materials to be donated (Ex.25:1-9;35:4-9;38:21-31)

2. Skill, ability and knowledge to build given by the Spirit of God (Ex.35:10-36:7)

3. The Ark (Ex.25:10-22 completed in Ex.37:1-9)

4. The Table (Ex.25:23-30 completed in Ex.37:10-16)

5. The Lampstand (Ex.25:31-40 completed in Ex.37:17-24)

5-A. Oil for Lampstand that the lamps may be kept burning (Ex.27:20-21)

6. The Tabernacle (Ex.26:1-37 completed in Ex.36:8-38)

The Priesthood

1.A) Age of service: 30-50 years (Num.4:1-3) reduced to 25-50 years in Num.8:23-26; reduced again to 20 years and upward in 1Chr.23:24-27)

1.B) Levites having physical defects disqualified for service (Lev.21:16-24)

1.C) Cannot drink alcohol during working hours or die (Lev.10:8-9)

1.D) To be judges (Lev.10:10;Dt.17:8-13)

1.E) To be teachers (Lev.10:11)

2. The Priestly garments (Ex.28:1-5 completed in Ex.39:1)

3. The Ephod(Ex.28:6-14 completed in Ex.39:2-7)

4. The Breastpiece with Urim and Thummin (Ex.28:15-30 completed in Ex.39:8-21)

Consecration of the Priests

1. Offer young bull and two rams without defect(Ex.29:1)

2. Along with basket of bread without yeast/cakes mixed with oil/wafers spread with oil (Ex,29:2-3)

3. Wash Priests with water at entrance of Tent of Meeting (Ex.29:4)

4. Dress/anoint high Priest and his sons (Ex.29:5-9)

5. Priests lay hands on bull/sacrifice and put some blood on horns of altar,the rest at the base (Ex.29:10-12)

6. Burn fat/fat covering liver and kidneys (Ex.29:13)

7. Burn rest of bull outside the camp (Ex.29:14)

8. Priest lay hands on one of the rams/sacrifice and sprinkle against altar on all sides/cut ram/wash parts/burn entire ram (Ex.29:15-18)

9. Priests lay hands on other ram/sacrifice/put some blood on lobes of the right ears of priests and on their right thumbs and on right toes/sprinkle blood against the altar on all sides and on priests but with anointing oil(Ex.29:19-21)

10. Take from this ram(for the ordination)all these fats/kidneys and right thigh/a loaf,a cake and a wafer from basket/put in priests hands and wave as a wave offering/burn(Ex.29:22-25)

11. Wave the breast of this ram,it will be the share for the priest(Ex.29:26)

12. Breast and left thigh is always to be the regular share from Israelites fellowship offering for priests (Ex.29:27-28)

13. Sacred Garments past on to descendants to be anointed and ordained in them as Aaron was/wear seven days(Ex.29:29-30)

14. Cook meat of this ram in a sacred place at entrance of Tent of Meeting/only priests may eat the meat and bread that is in the basket/burn leftovers by morning(Ex.29:31-34)

15. Repeat the above seven days(Ex.29:35-37)

16. Fine flour with oil as a regular grain offering burnt half in morning and half at night/prepared by son who is to succeed high priest(Lev.6:19-23)

Daily Sacrifice
Note:All offerings to be salted(Lev.2:13)

1. Two lambs each a year old(Ex.29:38)

2. One in morning/ one at twilight(Ex.29:39)

3. Offer with lambs measured flour,oil,and wine (Ex.29:40-41)

4. A perpetual sacrifice at entrance of Tent of Meeting with the Lord(Ex.29:42-46)
