Art of Fractal--HomePage
MY FRACTAL GALLERIES
Haeremai Welcome
Welcome to my fractal site. Here I have listed the galleries with their descriptions, so you will be able to easily find what you are looking for, and will maybe glance at the others on your way past.

Each gallery has a theme and a purpose. I have set the themes--the backdrops if you will--leaving the details to be filled in by each visitor.  That mix provides a variety of beauty and ugliness, peace and disturbance, because that is the way of nature. The great totara tree crashes to the forest floor, and is ennobled by decomposition which provides nourishment for the new generation of forest giants.

Lots of changes are taking place on my pages all the time. If you would like to stay informed, please
email me and I shall keep you up to date.

Also if you would like a personal fractal created especially for you, I shall be happy to do that for you, with or without a psychic reading to go with it.
Prints are also available.. Please
email me for further details.
You can also find me here, along with many other great artists.

My posters are here www.zazzle.com Search for rerewhakaaitu. The posters  are great quality, and range in size from 54inches by 36inches, down to quite small. They are also very reasonably priced.
Gallery One
Here is a collection of fractals, with no particular theme--other than the fact that I like them. Most are abstracts, although you will see from their titles that they remind me of more than merely abstracts. Chalice is at the far left. The other fractal is Ammonite. Metal Sculptures
This gallery is something new. The fractals are made using the normal fractal program, but they have a metallic and three dimensional look.

Gallery Two--Spiritual Fractals
As in the life they model, fractals also have a spiritual dimension. These fractals show that dimension as I see it. The Watcher (far left), many of you will have seen, but Lamplight is new. Click the highlighted names to see larger versions.

Gallery Three--Infinity of Spirals
The spiral is a metaphor for unfolding life, as well as being the signature of fractals,  the most common form to be found in fractal art. Yet there is an infinity of spiral forms, just as there is of every other form in both nature and mathematics. Click on the highlighted names to see larger versions. Far left is Gold spiral. The other I have called Moonlight spiral

Gallery Four--Awards, Links and some Special Fractals
Most good websites have them. I have made a special effort to make this page interesting with some of my very best work, as well as a few special links.  At left is Global Warming, which is part of a series of environmental fractals I am working on. Click on the blue links to see them bigger.

Gallery Five--Outer Space
I decided to get rid of the pages set aside for dark fractals. You will still find some of them scattered throughout the site. This new gallery is about Outer Space. The image at left is Spiralscape. Click the highlighted name to see a large version.

These scenes are made using the normal Fractal Explorer functions. The program also supports extensive Landscapes capabilittes, including layering. I have a link here to the download pages for this great free program. The picture at left is Bioluminescence Click the link to see an enlargement.

My Favourites
Every artist has favourites. This is where you can find a selection of mine. I like them for a variety of reasons which I have noted in the captions on the page. The two pictures here are Laser , and Fabergé--not an egg, but with intricate chased metal, and decorated with wonderful jewels. Click on the highlighted names to see larger versions.

Fractal Creatures
My fractal creatures range from thisunusual and interesting  Braided Face (far left) to strange beings that appear to be made from mist and metal, as in Creature of the Mists, and the weird concoction that I have called  Sapphire and Steel (left). The blue links will take you to the pages with the larger versions.

Samples
Some samples of readings I have done for people. The fractal I have chosen to represent this section is called Faces Within Faces. It is truly remarkable because within it is represented an infinity of faces, of all racial types. I have enlarged it HERE, so you can get a better look.

Some Stuff about My Homeland
Below are some pictures of parts of Aotearoa New Zealand. The geyser is called Pohutu, and is found in my hometown, Rotorua. The big tree clothed in festive red is the pohutukawa, known as our Christmas tree. Christmas in enzed is, of course, celebrated in midsummer.

So far I have made two fractal pages about aspects of New Zealand. To see them, just click on the links below.
