November 6, 2004 It's been a while since last the update. Lot's going on, little time. About a dozen local airgunners will be getting together soon for a fun shoot. Lot's of different styles and experience. Building a spring compressor to start tuning the 5 Industry Brand B3's to introduce other shooters to the sport. Butch is enjoying his semi-retirement in Vegas. He's getting the guns (and airguns) ready for some silhouette shooting. Heading to Larry Durham's underground 51 yard range on Monday. I hope he allows me to photograph some of that to share with airgun friends. Picked up a Remanufactured Crosman 66 Powermaster (pump-up) as a I heard they were better than the new ones. All the bugs worked out. Nice trigger and I've used it up to 20 yards with accurate results. Still getting outstanding coaching from Gary Anthony. !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

October 9, 2004 The club members have been shooting individualy around the globe. Although there is no longer a clubhouse, we still converse and get together on a regular basis. The shooting will go on. A special thanks to our proxy coach Gary Anthony! Gary, you brought all of us to greater levels faster than we ever could have done by experimentation. I urge all to actively participate in the politics of our sport. Shooting must survive ignorance! !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

September 27, 2004 Shot all of my pistols and rifles at 10 meters (33 feet) today. Butch could not miss with his Baikal IZH-46M pistol on Sunday. Our prayers go out for Gary's friend. Long life to all! !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

September 23, 2004 Just talked to Butch today. He's been working on the house since he sold the store. FOREX Airgun Club of Target Shooters is now a Proxy Club. Members and shooting locations are global. Airgunning has let us practice shooting between rare occassions to shoot our firearms. I spoke with Lanny's wife Linda at Tessie's market yesterday. I still need to get with Lanny to replace the seals and valve on his leaking Avanti 747. Coach Gary, Butch told me the video is finished and I will mail it to you as soon as I get it from him. I've been doing most of my shooting lately at the office traps. Hope to get together with Butch and Lanny to shoot together again. I'll have to update my planner with phone numbers from Butch. This club will not close even though we live miles apart. We learned some lessons from Gary Anthony that we will not forget! !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

September 3, 2004 It's been over a week since I updated the news. A lot has gone on. We picked up the firearms and went hunting in El Centro, CA (Sealey). Since this a target club, we will not go into the details. All I can say is that it was the most fun I've had (with my clothes on) in 10 years! Butch, Mei, Chris and myself. Next year has already been planned. It's your fault, Gary! We thank you for helping us rebuild our confidence. Butch and Mei are planning to shoot their firearms Sunday of next week at the Cleveland National Forrest, Orosco Shooting range. I will try to get that Sunday off since I'm working this Sunday for the holiday sale. We brought airguns to the campsite the night before the hunt and killed a few pop cans. The club is growing, even though many are moving out of the area. We have stood on the original premise that we would keep expenses down for all members. Most of our informal competition is done with Marksman 2004, Daisy 717 and Crosman 1377. Baikal's are only pitted against Baikal's! Butch showed his skills with his Charles Daly semi-auto 12 guage. Impressed this sniper! I'll be more proficient with a shotgun before next years hunt! !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

August 22, 2004 September 1st is just around the corner. US mens 50 meter rifle goes from gold to 8th place with a crossfire bullseye on another target! Still looking at PCP's. Eun Jin Sumatra .22 looks like a formidable foe. Butch is painting the house getting ready for the November move to Las Vegas. Will stop by the clubhouse tomorrow. Subscribed to Addictive Airgunning, Which is in Limbo now. Will purchase all back issues. Have January, April and May issues now. I may just write my own articles for future publishings. Crooked Barn is coming out with a quarterly airgun rag. I'll buy that on an issue by issue basis. !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

August 8, 2004 Butch was shooting one hole groups with his Daisy/Hatsan springer. Amazing! I have been told by over 20 people on the web that this airgun is not accurate?! I've now come to the conclusion thair fact is a paradigm, based on the fact that Butch and I shoot consistent one hole groups (Yeah, Gary, I weighed and swaged all my pellets)! I have not decided which airgun is next (I wonder who's fault that is, Gary?!). Doc Paul will be back from the P.I. in November. Next Sunday's shoot should be interesting. !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

August 6, 2004 Found a comprehensive website of airguninfo last night: http://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/rifledemos.htm and still have not read all the info. The following Sunday at Butch's we'll be videotaping the shoot. Butch got another red dot at Sports Authority - an adjustable brightness Daisy. Working on the backyard range. !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

August 3, 2004 Stopped by the clubhouse today. Butch and I were talking about how to put together a video for our mentor Gary Anthony. Gary, you have no idea how much we study and appreciate your knowledge and coaching! The value is priceless! A retired Skipper (Captain USMC) stopped by today. Shot the Crosman 1377, Marksman 2004 and the Baikal IZH-46M - he's now infected with airgunitis! Welcome aboard, Skipper (we sent him home with an AirgunExpress catalog)! The ranks are growing. On September 1ST, we will be out for our first hunt in years. Butch is using shotgun, I'm using airgun and maybe a Ruger Mark II .22LR pistol in addition. Dove, quail, pheasant and rabbit are the quarry. All for consumption, not sport. We've been doing airgun seriously for a full year with NO LOSS in interest! Thanks again, Gary, for all you have done for us. You are bringing us up to speed quickly. Our personal trainer, so to speak! !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

July 30, 2004 Found out from Vinchy last night that my Daisy Powerline 1000S is a Turkish Synthetic Hatsan Model 70 http://www.hatsan.com.tr . Still shoots same hole groups after over 2000 rounds. I'll Chrony it again after 5000 rounds. Posted a Snipe recipe on the Philippine website - Sorry Mike T! The recipe mentioned removing the skin and eyes - Mike T's favorite parts! LOL! Butch has been shooting his Hatsan Mod 70 in the mornings. Marksman 2004's still shooting straight and hard. We're working on a new video - Yeah, we're slow, Gary. Mike T's now learning more about sight building. !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

July 28, 2004, Just finished watching a videotape from Gary. He scolded me for not updating this website. You're right, Gary! We have not stopped shooting, but I got lazy with this sight. We feel responsible for the P3 Clone frenzy on th web! Seeing how long Gary held his on the video confirmed our satisfaction with this pistol! Gamo Match 7.5 grain seem to love thiss pistol - got a scale and chrony from Gary's advice - Thanks, our friend! Uncle Sam advised me a month ago that my Military Occupational Specialties (MOS's - I have 9 of the 17 on the list) may involve me in a future recall) I've dropped from 290 lbs to 243 lbs just by changing my diet (not eating less, just eating different) and increasing my weightlifting and cardiovascular activity. If recalled, I'll jump aboard. I've been a Marine most of my life. It's what I do best! I'll be way ahead of my fellow retirees in marksmanship due to this hobby of airgunning. We have alot of new members. Membership builds every week. Mike T got us interested in rifles and hunting again. September 1ST is the scheduled hunt for next season. We eat what we hunt and leave the environment clean. I'm mentally and physically ready for combat if recalled. Won't let anyone down when and if it happens. We have to stop terrorism before it invades us again - that's the terrorists plan!! Until then, I will hone my skills on the deadly and accurate airgun! Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

June 15, 2004, Had another fun shoot at Butch's on Sunday, June 13, 2004. Butch, Perlita, Cora, Annabelle and myself. Many of our regulars had business and graduation commitments and had to pass. Next shoot! Butch had numerous shooting opportunities from 25' al the way out to 50' (7.5 - 15 meters) all shot with offhand pistol! Paper bullseyes in various diameters from 1/2" to 2 1/2", Gamo rocker traps, sillouettes, rabbit and dove and mouse field targets with 1" KZ (Kill Zone) at 50', Pellet tin targets and soda cans! 3 solid hours of shooting fun. Noli received our package and is hooked on the Guns and Ammo target shooting software! Butch and myself spend alot of our web time chatting with our pares around the globe on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/philippine_airguns . Annabelle took an affinity to Butch's BSA Red Dot scope. Now she wants one for her Ruger SP-101 .357 Magnum revolver! I spent more time pumping, cocking and loading pistols for my wife, Annabelle, to shoot than I did shooting myself! I'm going to have to call Daisy to get new seals and valves for Annabelle's old Model 41 C02. She despises cocking and pumping! Thanks Butch and Perlita! Once again, supreme hospitality! !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |

May 4, 2004, We have not updated the news in awhile. Very busy schedules. Lanny and Linda have gone East to visit their grandbaby. Replaced the seals and valves in Butch's 717. Fired Daisy 717's, Baikal IZH-46M's Industry Brand Qs-35's, Crosman 1377's, Air Force Talon, Daisy Powerline 856, Norinco Fast Deer KL-3B at paper targets, sillouettes, and field targets at Butches on Sunday. We also fired AirSoft Taurus Model 92 and 111 at plastic terrorists figureines! !Shooting Shooting Masarap! |
