The Rotary Club
of
Noosa Heads - Daybreak. District 9600 Queensland
We meet each Thursday upstairs at the Reef Hotel in Noosa Drive Noosa Heads at 6.30am for fellowship and then for a 7.00 am sit down Breakfast.
Breakfast costs $13.00 and consists of Bacon, Eggs, Sausages, Mushrooms, Baked Beans, Toast, Orange Juice, and of course the menu can vary from week to week.
The Club has used The Melbourne Cup as our Major Fund Raiser over the last two years after our formation in 1999. We found that in the first year that our target was nearly reached and it was believed that this was encouraging enough to try to establish our Luncheon/raffle as the premium Melbourne Cup Luncheon in Noosa.
Last year we attempted to increase our profile by running a Calcutta with the help of the local radio station Heat FM and the Noosa Reef hotel. Perhaps not the success we would have liked but we did not lose money, actually made a few dollars and agreed it was something that we could build on in the coming years. So if you are coming to Noosa during that time of the year email us to book your tickets.

We are currently developing a rapid response type of fundraiser hand in hand with the Ampol Service Station in Noosa where we will man the pumps, wash the windscreens, check the tyres all for a gold coin donation. These funds will be put to an emergency requirement by a local individual.
Local organisations have been asked to provide needy parties for our consideration.
