This is the costume Kurapika wears looks dull in my opinion. The white suit he wears under is a simple combine, with thewhen he first appears in the anime/manga. Well, when I first saw him with that suit, the first thought came to my mind is that he is from some special clan or he is a very traditional person. And I guessed right! but because of his dressing, the suit, I choose Killua over him, I mean that suit is definitely not attractive  blue shoes, but, with the touch of the blue cloth with orange patterns on the top, he is more noticeable. But, I personally don’t like the bow tie, I think it makes him look dull.   Oh, by the way, I don’t really like this picture… but I couldn’t find any others on my computer…

Kurapika wears this suit on their way to Killua's house. Well, it’s another traditional suit from Kurapika, and I personally think it’s better than the first one. Let’s see, from the whole design, we can see that Mr. Togashi (the artist) designed it based on the Chinese martial art uniforms. Well, he did change a bit things, like he added the shoulder part which makes Kurapika looks tougher (hehe), but I think it’ll be better if it’s sleeveless, but you never know.   Well, I like traditional things, and red definitely suits Kurapika. Blonde guy, light skin colour, they suit together, the choice of colour is worth to give credit to, but the design is a little bit old, so but I’ll say I think this suit is fine, but I will never whistle when I see a guy in this suit.

Alright! Now we are here, with , Kurapika’s 3rd suit which he wears in York Shin. Comparing to the two suits above, I can only say one word: BETTER. Not only our Kurapika looks more mature and experienced, he has one excellent accessory: the nen chain. Did I tell you I LOVE this picture? Oh let’s get to the fashion point.   First of all, the pattern, still the orange pattern, but it looks better and shows more highlight. (and it looks especially good without the stupid bow tie) although, that skirt looks a big funny, that is if you stare at it for 10 minutes like I did, I’d say it’s a totally traditional yet fashionable design. Togashi didn’t spend time on the patterns of the skirt, and that’s a big disappointment on this suit, does that bow tie pattern symbolize something!? Gentle? Probably. The chain, and the top, they are perfect, only if the skirt is designed a little more suitable, I think the whole suit is perfect for Kurapika, the character.

Another business suit, to tell you the truth, I don’t think Kurapika looks good in a business suit, basically because of his hair, but we have to admit that he looks cute in whatever suit! Let’s see, red tie, blue suit, black shirt, great match but I think a brown or grey shirt would look better with the suit and the tie. He looks too… old.
