| Members present: Charles Russell, Dennis Walter, John Johnson, Carolyn
Chrone, Beverly Rhyan, Margaret Hanson Also present: Rob McDaniel Information requests to the CA staff were discussed. A summary of responses received to date was distributed. Additional questions for the CA staff were discussed. Additional information is needed concerning maintenance of the level 3 and level 4 areas. The task force requested that the golf course boundaries be clearly marked prior to the visits by the potential bidders so that the areas to be maintained by the management company selected are defined. Excess maintenance areas such as the waterscapes on Legacy Hills #9 and #10 and other areas maintained for the enhancement of the community were discussed. The task force will notify the CA of the areas believed to be outside the golf course boundaries so that an agreement can be reached on who will maintain these areas. It was suggested by the task force that no outside golf events be scheduled for 2007 since the new management company will be in place by that time. Dennis discussed issues related to cash flow under the new management. It was agreed that the CA should continue to collect annual fees from members. Also discussed was the allocation of shared resources (utilities, water, etc) between the restaurant and golf operations. Dennis will meet with Ann Dodson to discuss these issues and gain a better understanding of how these costs are allocated. A question was asked about the status of the RFP for the food and beverage operations. Several of the potential bidders for golf operations may want to assume responsibility for restaurants also. Mr. McDaniel indicated that the RFP had been issued and an outside company probably will be selected to manage food and beverage operations within the next few months. The resident survey was discussed. A draft of the survey was given to approximately 20 golfers as a test to identify whether the questions were clear. A few issues needed clarification. The survey will be revised to incorporate minor changes. Copies of the survey will be printed and will be available in the pro shops beginning Monday, February 27. The survey forms will be available in the pro shops until March 15, 2006. A note indicating the availability of the survey will be placed on the Task Force website. Also, the neighborhood representatives will be asked to include a note about the survey in their weekly report. The task force timeline developed previously was revised. The timeline will be updated and distributed to task force members. |
