| Members present: Charles Russell, Dennis Walter, Lynn Chapman, Carolyn
Chrone, John Stephens, Beverly Rhyan, Margaret Hanson Also present: Betty Ann Preston Six of the eight management companies that received the RFP have indicated that they will send one or more representative(s) to the site visit and bidder’s conference to be held May 1 and May 2, 2006. One company (Century Golf) has indicated that they do not feel their business model fits the SCTx plans so they will not be participating. One company, Kemper Sports, cannot arrange to have a representative at the conference but has requested that they be allowed to visit instead on May 8, 2006. Information to be presented at the Bidder’s Conference scheduled for May 2 was discussed and slide presentation reviewed. Minor revisions to the slides were suggested. The format for the site visit (May 1) and the Bidder’s Conference (May 2) were discussed. On Monday, May 1 the company representatives, accompanied by task force members, will tour the golf facilities including both golf courses, maintenance facilities, pro shops and storage areas. A schedule for the touring the golf courses will be developed and will include stopping at several holes so that the visitors can observe the course conditions. Dennis provided an updated copy of expenses for fiscal years 2003, 2004 and 2005. Some of the bidders have requested this information. It was decided that no financial information would be provided at the bidder’s conference. If financial information is requested by prospective bidders the information will be provided at a later time if the members of the Task Force agree that the information is required to complete a proposal. |
