September 2006 Update
Appointment of Director of Golf & Course Superintendent
Neil Etter is the new Director of Golf. Neil comes to us from the McAllen Country Club, where he has been the head professional for the last ten years. Although Neil is new to the EAGL organization, he has extensive experience in the golf business and those of us who have met him believe he will be an excellent fit for our environment. Neil has begun his transition from his previous position in McAllen to Sun City, and he expects to be here full time by October 8th.
During Neil's transition, Dale Folmar, Regional Manager for EAGL, and Karl Luedeke, Director of Golf at Canyon Springs in San Antonio will also be providing support to our operation.
Gary Wilson is the new Director of Maintenance. Gary comes to us from Fossil Creek in Fort Worth. He has been with the EAGL organization about seven years. Gary is already on site and has "hit the ground running".
Also, Bruno Ybarbo and Rey Gomez have accepted employment with EAGL and will continue to be part of our management team.
On Friday, October 6th at 1:00, we will have a WELCOME MEETING FOR EAGL in the main ballroom. Residents will have the opportunity to meet the EAGL team and hear from them what their plans are for our golf operations. We encourage all to attend.
