1) Benden Weyr and Ruatha Hold are off-limits.
2) No characters of Anne McCaffrey can be used in any way. Avoid names that are obvious copies of some names- Lissa instead of Lessa and such.
3) There are only five colors of dragons (I think that you all know what they are- do I really need to list them?) Ruth was and ever shall remain the only "sport" colored dragon.
4) Gold dragons will Impress only to women, and bronzes only to men.
5) There is no magic, war, or religion on Pern.
6) Pern is not allowed to be crossed-over with any other worlds, including earth or any other one of AM's worlds.
7) Absolutely no fanfiction may be posted anywhere online.

The Club Rules
Some of these may be broken with good reason and an excellent story or character sheet to go along with it.

1) Dragon Pairings
Gold Dragon- Female
Bronze Dragon- Male
Brown Dragon- Male or Female (rare)
Blue Dragon- Male or Female
Green Dragon- Male or Female
Riders may be any sexuality- homosexual goldriders and heterosexual male greenriders are allowed.

2) Mating Flight Pairings
Gold- Bronze, Brown (rare)
Green- Any

3) New members will be allowed two personas until they have shown that they can keep up with them (usually just a few weeks).

4) Female brownriders are given out very rarely, and only to members who have proven their ability in keeping up with the Weyr and being active. Female blueriders are much like that, but to a lesser degree.

5) Ranking personas are currently being given to members who appear as though they will be able to keep up with them.

Posting Requirements
1) Level 1 ranking personas must be posted three times a month, Level 2 twice, and Level 3 once.

2) Non-ranking personas are not required to post, but members who post as a non-ranking persona are more likely to receive ranking personas in the future.

4) Any words that you would like italicized should be placed between slashes. Ex: /between/
Dragon-to-rider or rider-to-dragon speach should be placed between double asteriks. Ex: **What do you mean, rider-mine?**

Ranking Personas

There are many different defenitions of "ranking personas" at different Weyrs. However, to be more fair, Scyjavor has divided their ranks into different levels.

Level One: Weyrwoman, Weyrleader, Master Crafters.
Level Two: Weyrwoman's Second, Weyrleader's Second, Wingleaders, Lord Holders, Craftmasters.
Level Three: Wingseconds, Queenriders, Lady Holders, and any crafter woman beyond Jr. Journeywoman.
Level Four: (Please note that Level Fours have no posting requirements, but the owners should be aware that they are being given something beyond average.) Bronzeriders, Gold Weyrlings, Metallic Flits, Journeymen Crafters.

Pets

1) Fire-lizards and the occasional feline or canine are the only pets that Candidates are allowed. Herdbeasts and runners may be brought to the Weyr, but will be housed in the feeding grounds and are potential dragon food.

2) Few riders will have the time to care for a runner, but if you can come up with a good reason why your persona does have that time (or just so long as you plan to write the runner into your stories), we'll be happy to let you have one.

3) Riders of metallic dragons should not have metallic firelizards.

4) No persona should have more than thre flits- if you have a remarkably well-written, non-rider persona sheet outlining how you got all these flits, and are also willing to write about them, I may allow you to have one.

Member Rules
Any infractions of these rules will be dealt with, usually with a warning depending on the severity.

1) There is to be no spamming or flaming on the lists. They are for role-playing only.

2) Members will be allowed only as many personas as they can keep up with.

3) Please put "purple monkeys" in the form next to your name so that I will know that you've read the rules.
