Weather and Thread

The main climate of Scyjavor is typically fairly cool, as it is located in a slightly mountainous region located at moderately low latitudes. Warm summer days are fairly common, but it is rare that there would be a warm night at any time during the year. Winters can be exceedingly cold, often with quite a bit of snow. Throughout the rain there is a fair amount of rain. The old location of the Weyr was located further north, with warmer temperatures.

In order to give writers more flexibility on the weather, and also because creating an accurate weather chart is difficult for someone who has no knowledge of the way that the climate works, only threadfalls are noted.
