| Dave McFadden | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Dave fully deserves this player of the week award (given by pitch invasion), although we lost 11 - 3 to Leigh Boys, had Dave not put in a sterling performance, we would have lost by far more goals. In true football style, just like in the premiership, a prize is awarded to the man of the match. It wasn't a bottle of Champagne, but a designer Pitch invasion wallet. I myself presented it to Dave and he was overcome with emotion. He probably threw it under his bed, never to be seen again. Well done Dave, great game. |

| Today we have been promoted from the 3rd Division by finishing 2nd in our league. It was a tight league with the top three teams finishing on the same amount of points. Click on the link for more information as to how we went up. |

| This week Tom has earned himself player of the week against the Chequers. Below is the desciption of Tom from the Pitch Invasion website. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| *Sharp Shooters went into tonight's game knowing that if results went their way they could win promotion to Division 1 and possibly even win the Conference. The knew that a win would leave them in with a chance if either of the teams above them slipped up. All of the players battled well, to eventually secure a 4-3 win over The Chequers, but credit must go to Tom who seemed to be all over the pitch, winning every challenge and giving the opposition no time to think. As things turned out, this victory was in vain as The Chronic and Tetrelis both won their games, to finish 1st and 2nd but Sharp Shooters can build on their performances over the season and hopefully achieve even more next season.* | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In a 'backs to the wall' game for Sharpshooters team which elected to start their game with Southend Galactico's with only 3 players. Paul Maddison was one of the 3 players that heriocally held out for a long period until they finally succumbed to the Galactico's by 10-5. Paul was elected as Player of the Week by the attending referee who felt Paul's deserved the honour on his overall display. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
