Welcome to BLUEBIRDS AND BLOSSOMS! “Bluebirds arrive from the south in the early spring. They live in open country and woodland settings nesting in holes in trees or fence posts. In native cultures the south is the direction of innocence and childlike activity. When a bluebird shows up it could be asking you to lighten up and let go of any dramas that are presently occupying your life. If it appears in your immediate surroundings this message is more pronounced.
The bluebird’s song is one of joy and playfulness. When it flies into your life it serves as a reminder to allow others to grow in their own way and time.” (ibid.)
This site is about the cycle of change. More importantly, it is about the transitions in my life. All of us go through changes. Seldom do we talk openly about our feelings, for they are difficult to share. We carry our facades, and hide very well behind them. Just for a moment, I shall remove my mask and give you a glimpse into my life. Perhaps, if nothing else, you can say, “I’m glad my dramas are not like hers!” lol Hopefully, you will find out that you are not alone in experiencing the effects of your changes. Maybe something written here will mirror you own disruptions, and you can find fresh insight.
My prayer is that together we might find balance in our spirits. Together we might find the courage to lighten up and return to the innocence of our childlike playfulness, and our song of joy will return.
These bluebirds have entered our lives for a reason. May we be reminded to experience the ceremonial dance of reunion, while allowing others to grow in their own way and time!
Joy and Happiness to all of you!
