~About SR~
Team Sonic Racing (mostly known as SonicRacing) was started by me, Benjamin Christensen. I don't recall when I actually started it or came up with a name for that matter. I suppose if I thought really hard I could, but does anyone care anyway?

Oringally, I was part of Hybrid, a local team with only Hondas. Me, owning a Ford Probe thought it would be fun to be part of that. I believe that was back in 2001 when I joined. Things more or less fell through the cracks with those guys. So Andrew, another member from Hybrid and myself started R3 (Rad Racer Racing. Sometimes even called R3 Racing. That's correct, Rad Racer Racing Racing). It was a joke more or less you could say (hence the goofy name). Nothing really came of it. Months later Dancing Crab Racing poped up and Andrew joined up with them. Didn't matter due to the non-serious nature of R3 anyway.

As time went on the totally stupid name got old. Me, being the ONLY member allowed me to call all the shots. So the decision of a new name was all on me. I then came up with Sonic Racing. It was me, and only me for quite some time. I asked a few people to join this team (or lack for better words) along the way, but no one was really intersted. No one really shared the
team philosophy I had either.

In late November of 2002 I met Mary. We became good friends right from the get go. I asked her if she wanted to be part of this so called team, she accepted. So here we are now in 2003. Two members strong, four vehicles wide, and ready to take on the world!

SonicRacing is still of a non-serious demenior and mentality. It's a hobby you could say. This lame website, a link to have of a team affiliation to put in message board signatures, and a way for us to show off what we have done and where we have gone. Quality, not quantity is what it is all about. It's about the peole 100%. What you drive is really of no importance. We don't care to have large member numbers or award willing cars. We are aboutthe fun, the fun of cars.

Thank you for visiting our site.
