Episode Seven continued on the next page...
Coming back from Tribal Council, there was spirit in the hearts of individuals who for many weeks have had none.  With Jacob's sole vote, the former Auca Pan members felt as if they had a chance in the game.  Now with the vote stacked five to five, there was a potential tie looming in the distance.
That tie of course, was not inevitable.
Chad came back to camp, feeling very full of himself.
"Since I didn't have to technically claim which side I was on, thanks to Jacob's sole vote, I am able to ride the fence a while longer.  The longer the strategically better it is for me," Chad mentioned in confession. The possible tie also had other things standing in its way.  The ten members of Melipal had been together for six days, and had obviously begun to form friendship.
Marie and Nichole, for instance, had begun to form a bond.
"I like Marie, we are close to the same age, and we do have alot in common.  The similarities can't be avoided," Nichole explains.
"I am close with Nichole, close enough that I'm going to approach her about voting tomorrow," Marie said, "Let's hope for the best."

The next morning, the nerves were up on both sides, since everyone was possibly a target for the next vote.
Marie and Nichole found themselves alone at camp early in the day.Subtly, of course, Marie brought the issue of voting up.
"Have you decided about voting?"  She asked.
"I haven't decided yet," Nichole answered.
"Sticking with Peuco?"
"I don't know."

Andrew sat, as always paranoid.  He was standing by the edge of the water, washing his buff.
"With all of my past votes, how can I not feel paranoid going into a possible tie?  I mean, I suppose with Chad voting with us, at least supposedly, it wouldn't matter, but I think about that alot," Andrew explained.

No more than a football field away, Luke sat on the bank pretending to fish.  In his mind, he was running down his list of victims.
"Travis and Adam are too weak to have much of an impact on this game.  They don't strategize, as far as I can see, so I don't see any point in consider either of them in my plans.  Chad is my little pawn.  He will continue to vote with Peuco, I believe, even though he didn't do the right thing with the Andi vote.  Nichole, my student in strategy, is an integral part of my plans.  Will the student beat the teacher?  I doubt it.  Andrew...why is the person I trust the least, the one I use the most?  I see your dislike of Chad leading to you going with the other tribe. Don't, I suggest you, don't.  Jacob, the gutless wonder.  His tribe not only moves him, but they talk for him too.  It's sad.  Lisa....I still get nervous when I rely on you.  You are a good person, but in the context of this game, you aren't to be trusted.  And Marie...well, Marie...Come hell or High water, you or I will be out of this game, soon," Luke fumed.

Adam saw the game in terms of Peuco.  He was a member of Peuco and when the time came, he would claim his spot in the end.  As for now, he thought, all he needed to do was make sure Peuco remained strong.

The former Auca Pan members, namely Josie, Travis and Marie remained close.  They spent alot of their day chatting in the woods near camp, outside of earshot.
"What would happen in a tie again?" Josie asked.
"It comes down to past votes...which I think only Jacob has any of,"
Travis explained.
"I think I am getting the vote though," Marie said, "Luke and I
don't see eye to eye."
"And you don't have any, right?" Travis asked.
"I don't think so..." Marie mentioned.

----Day 3----
"I am voting for Marie tonight...if for no reason, but to make this game harder for her," Hadley
----------------

Jacob later asked Marie what the vote was going to be in a few days.
"Either Andrew or Nichole, right now" she explaiend.
"Yeah, that's what I was thinking.  Adam and Lisa are no threats, whatsoever, so let's not vote for them," Jacob said.
"Ok," Marie said, letting Jacob think he made a decision.

Nichole walked over to Luke, saying hello.
"What's up Luke," Nichole began.
"Nothing," Luke said quietly.
"Marie has been pestering me about not voting with you guys," Nichole said, sitting down next to him.
"Oh, well, I know that isn't happening," Luke said.
"Ah..." Nichole mused.
"Luke, what is actually going on with Chad?" she asked.
"Oh, nothing important," Luke responded.
"Listen, Luke...if you are trying to get me to forget about things that you are doing in the game, thinking they don't involve me, I don't know how you expect me to trust you in this game," she said, her voice rising.
"Nichole, it doesn't have anything to do with that...it honestly isn't a big deal though," Luke said.
"Fine..."

"Luke may be using me, and the more and more I go on in this game, the more and more I begin to feel he is," Nichole said.

"I really wish Nichole would just let me do what I'm doing," Luke commented, "She doesn't need to worry, I'm taking care of things." "Going with Marie, you know, may not be completely bad."

Back at Camp, Andrew went to get Tree Mail.  He opened it, took out the small circle piece of wood, and read around the spiral.  His eyes lit up, when he read the words "clear your past."

"If the reward today has anything to do with a past vote clearer, I need it.  I need to win it...alot," Andrew said.

Reward Challenge
"Pieced Together"

The ten tribe members made their way to Challenge Meadow, where they  saw two large wood cylinder type structures.

Stephanie stood on one of them, ready to explain the challenge.

"You will be competing against each other, however, in a twist, you will be competing against your former tribemates. Each of you have been placed on a game board in alphabetical order on your respective game board.

Every round, two colors will be pulled (there are 4 colors of each). Anyone standing on that color has to MOVE, they do so, by posting which one they move on. However, they can only skip over ONE blocks maximum. Meaning, if you are standing on 1 for instance, you can jump to 3 and to 15. However, not to 4, nor 14.

Then, the block that person was standing on would be removed. If you end up having to step on a block that someone else is already on, you MAY. However, if that color is pulled, both of you fall, regardless of your move possibility. (Think about how hard it would be for two people to move together)

Also, if a third person moves to that block, and they MAY, all three are taken off. So..that third person could theoretically knock themselves out, but take 2 others with him. The last person on theboard for each tribe, will win a past vote clearer, that they mayuse for THEMSEVLES only.

There was confusion last time as to what you can do with this. Before a TC, you may inform me that you wish to clear your pastvotes. After using this, all votes previously cast, will NOTcount. However, you must use this before the vote is revealed."

"Now, climb on up your respective boards.  When I call a color, I'll have Steve do the grunt work and pull the piece out.  Let's begin," Stephanie finished.

The tribe climed up on their spots.

Stephanie spun two wheels, one for both groups of people: green and yellow came up.  Lisa, Andrew, Jacob, and Josie all had to move.
Steve then removed the spots they were standing on.
The next two colors for Auca Pan were Green and Red, meaning Jacob and Marie had to move.
The next two colors for Peudo were purple and red, making all five of the people move.  In an act of blatency, Luke, Nichole and Lisa all moved to the same square, all falling off immediately.  Adam, in moving to his next block, convienantly fell off.
"Andrew...Congrats, you have won a past vote clearer," Stephanie announced.
The yell of excitement annoyed former Auca Pan.  They glared at Peuco, another challenge, successfully thrown.
The next two colors for the Auca pan group were Yellow and Purple.
All five of the survivors had to move.  In moving, Jacob and Chad ended up on the same block, Travis and Marie were on the same block, and Josie was on a block, isolated from any other.  The pairs hugged each other, trying to keep balance.
Chad and Jacob couldn't hold on for long, and quickly tumbled off of their block.  Josie, being isolated was removed, and between Marie and Travis, Travis was the ungraceful of the duo, falling off before Marie.  Marie had won the past vote clearer.

Stephanie announced to the Melipal tribe.

"The ten of you are convienantly separated," she announced, looking at the two tribes, split up, by former lines.
"Why not stay that way?"

The tribes were shell shocked.  They felt as if another rug was pulled out from under them.  Merge strategy had to be rethought.

"Of course, there is no reason to.  Just kidding," Stephanie said, with a laugh.

The tribe made its way back to camp, cussing under their voice at an evil joke.
