RUPORN05 is one a 10 droid series of astromech droid. At the companies peak there were some 6790 million astromech droids functioning through the galaxy. RUPORN05 has had many owners of which his latest Bruce Skychannel is the first of many Java Knights that have used similar droids.
RUPORN05 only appears on occasions with Skychannel, but helped him greatly in locating the bounty hunter Bib McCool on Tantive. He is made of an titanium metal alloy that often causes the droid to fall on it face. His design is certainly not flawless in fact the Droids R Us company closed down many years ago due to massive loses and poor droid design.
RUPORN05 has many gadgets some which actually work such as his radar and ice maker. He uses most of these in other episodes of SPACE WORZ.
His radar is what helped Skychannel locate McCool and although they failed to claim the bounty hunter RUPORN05 was still able to fire a homing beacon onto McCool's space craft which assisted the Rebel Resistance Movement in the Shadow Wars on Furthest From.
During the Shadow Wars astromech droids helped in locating the enemy and also in welfare by serving food and cleaning weaponary.
RUPORN10's we actually desgined for a military use and some were conscripted into the Establishment army just before they were defeated.
RUPORN05 still serves master Skychannel and the newly formed Republic, and although he may just be a piece of "Aussie Crap" his SPACE WORZ's answer to R2D2. |
