Did You Know?

DK Monkey Rap

Huh, huh!
Here we go.
So they're finally here
Performing for you
If you know the words
You can join in too
Put your hands together
If you want to clap
As we take you through
This monkey rap!

Huh! DK! Donkey Kong!

He's the leader of the bunch
You know him well
He's finally back
To kick some tail
His coconut gun
Can fire in spurts
If he shoots ya
It's gonna hurt!
He's bigger, faster
And stronger too
He's the first member
Of the DK crew!

DK! Donkey Kong! DK!
Donkey Kong is here!

This kong's got style
So listen up dudes
She can shrink in size
To suit her mood
She's quick and nimble
When she needs to be
She can float through the air
And climb up trees!
If you choose her
You'll not choose wrong
With a skip and a hop
She's one cool kong!

DK! Donkey Kong!

He has no style
He has no grace
This kong has a funny face
He can handstand
When he needs to
And stretch his arms out
Just for you
Inflate himself just like a balloon
This crazy kong just digs this tune!

DK! DK! Donkey Kong! DK! DK! Donkey Kong is here!

He's back again
And about time too
And this time he's in the mood
He can fly real high
With his jetpack on
With his pistols out
He's one tough kong!
He'll make you smile
As he plays his tune
But Kremlings beware cause he's after you!

DK! Donkey Kong! DK! Donkey Kong!
DK! Donkey Kong! DK! Donkey Kong!

Finally,
He's here for you
It's the last member
Of the DK crew
This kong's so strong
It isn't funny
Can make a kremling
Cry out for mummy
Can pick up a boulder
With relative ease
Makes crushing rocks
Seem such a breeze
He may move slow
He can't jump high
But this kong's
One of heck of a guy!

Come on Cranky, take it to the fridge!

Cheap or not Cheap?

Cheap: Is when you weaken your opponent by not letting him/her to move, or killing them quickly without giving them a chance.
Not Cheap: Is when you aren't cheap, and you can weaken your opponent fairly and give them a chance when fighting you.
Sometimes though, you can be a little cheaper to make the game more fair. For instance when you are by yourself in a team battle, and there are two or three people against you, you can be a little cheap. Sometimes they won't even notice. Computer Players especially don't notice or care. After all, if there are three people against you, they have three times as many lives as you, and the upper hand.

Cheap: Walking up to your opponent and throwing him into a wall, then doing this over and over again taken health away, and not allowing your opponent to move.
Not Cheap: Throwing your opponent, letting them get up, throw them again, let them get up, they try to attack you and miss, you throw them again.

Cheap: Smashing your opponent repeatedly not allowing him/her to move.
Not Cheap: Using a Combo of Smashes of any other type. Even smashing your opponent, allowing them to get up, and if they blow it trying to attack you, smash them again.

Cheap: Inhaling with Kirby and walking off a cliff, grabbing with DK and walking off a cliff, and even Metoer Smashing your opponent off a cliff when he/she has high health.
Not Cheap: Stealing power with Kirby, throwing with DK, and Meteor Smashing, but not off the edge.

Cheap: Walking up to your opponent, and pressing A repeatedly, hitting them not letting them move.
Not Cheap: Pressing A for a few seconds on your opponent, then stopping, the doing it for a few seconds again at a different time in the game.

Cheap: Running to your opponent, hitting them, then running away. Doing this over and over again is weakening them cheaply.
Not Cheap: Dodging your opponents attacks by rolling, air dodging, jumping out of the way, etc. Then attacking your opponent. You face your opponent, instead of running away, and being cheap.

Cheap: When your opponent is trying to grab back onto the edge you tap A repeatedly, not letting them, or just keep hitting them off before they touch the ground.
Not Cheap: Letting your opponent grap onto the edge, then attacking him/her while they are on the playform.

CP Patterns & Weaknesses

  • When you jump in the air, CP's tend to go straight below you, and wait there. They attack you if you come near them.

  • CP's tend not to pick up items, just pokeballs. They run straight for them.

  • Computer Players don't have trouble fighting when they are invisible. They would fight just as well even if they weren't.

  • If you roll behing a CP they will turn around after a second or two, giving you a chance to attack.

  • When you are invincible or have a hammer, they run away.

  • They tend to not notice mines.

  • They never jump away from Bob-ombs, they just shield them.

  • When you die, and then come back, you are invincible for a few seconds. CP's tend to attack you anyways, not noticing that you are invincible.
