JASON MARTIN, Ph.D. Co-Director, Starseed Center for Yoga & Meditation. Playwrite, novelist and former university professor of French and comparative literature. Professional Certifications in Yoga, Shamanic Hypnosis, Shamanic Empowerment Therapy and Heart-centered Gestalt Therapy. In private practice in Montclair, New Jersey. Director of Starseed Center's Meditation Teacher Training Program. VIC BEAUDET, R.Y.T. Dr. ELIZABETH ERWIN Educational Design Specialist; Specialist in Curriculum Design and Teacher Education. Associate Professor in Special Education, Queens College, C.U.N.Y. As part of an initiative of Childrens Resources International, Dr. Erwin has trained university faculty and administrators from developing countries (Mongolia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan) in creating democratic and quality educational programs. Dr. Erwin has been a student of yoga for over a decade. Rev. ANTHONY J. RANDAZZO Father Randazzo is a happy parish priest at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church in North Caldwell, New Jersey, and is both an experienced spiritual director as well as an educational design consultant. BOB SHANNON Bob is a 35-year veteran of radio broadcasting of national standing, and has hosted a variety of syndicated radio programs. He has authored or co-authored a number of written works, and combines an expert's knowledge of the history of popular music and radio with a deep committment to yoga and meditation. SUSAN SIMEK, R.Y.T. Has studied and practiced yoga for over 15 years, and a graduate of both Starseed's yoga teacher training program as well as Beryl Bender Birch's Power Yoga teacher training program. She synthesizes asana, breath-work, meditation and relaxation techniques. A Member of Starseed's teacher training program faculty since 1998. JOHN WISE, ESQ. Mr. Wise is an attorney at law with offices in New Jersey, and serves as legal advisor to the Starseed Educational Foundation. NAN WISE, L.C.S.W. Nan Wise is a licensed clinicial social worker with over 20 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment facilities. She is the former Clinical Driector of the Community Psychiatric Institute, a partial hospitalization program in East Orange, New Jersey. She is a diplomate of the American Psychotherapy Association and of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. Ms. Wise is a graduate of Starseed's yoga teacher training program, and is committed to combining the best of traditional psychotherapies with yoga and meditation to offer a holistic approach to the healing process. |
