STARSEED EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION's mission is the creation of the Starseed Recovery community, am odel of learning, healing and mutual support for the recovery process that addresses physical, psychosocial and spiritual roots of substance use problems.
The Starseed Recovery Residential & Aftercare Leadership Training Program in Yoga & Meditation creates a community of mutual support and a rigorous curriculum for spiritually grounded self-care learning for individuals recovering from trauma, alcohol and drug addiction, in the context of the residential treatment center and as a work-release therapeutic community.
Persons in our communities recovering from substance abuse and trauma need a model aftercare service that assists them in perceptual and behavioral modalities and offers them an opportunity to train for volunteer work teaching ancient and near-forgotten healing skills that operate at the roots of addiction. |
