What a year -
2001 was the year when The Walls finally confirmed themselves as one of Ireland's premier bands. Highlights included the radio success of their internet only single bone deep, landing a support slot on the last leg of U2's European tour at slane, they were also one of the most popular acts at Witnness ''they rocked the tent till the pegs started to pull out of the ground. The capacity crowd yelled for more..'

Compilations - Bone Deep (only copy of the single version available other than the free download from the official site) is included on a superb EMI album 'late night radio' & Brewing Up A Storm is included on  'tom dunne's 30 best irish hits'. 'Brewing'   was also recently voted in the IMRO/Rattlebag Top 75 Irish Songs, representing three centuries of Irish music.

WANTED - A reward of 1 Euro for any information leading to the capture of Carl Harm's overdue  questionnaire Carl Harms is a middle-aged man, approx. 6' 4'' with a strong Kerry accent (see photo opposite - the one without the beard) and should be approached with caution.

World Wide Web -
The Walls headlined the cluas gig at Whelan's on November 29th & also appeared as surprise guests at the Cluas benefit gig in aid of Concern on December 22nd. Both gigs were broadcast live as  webcasts on the cluas website
