Hitters
Draft Solid Players-Try not to draft guys who can only hit homers or just steal bases. Take a guy who is well rounded in most categories, and only take guys who hit around .300. Speed is a great asset for power, so a Ryan Klesko is available, take him

Draft a Balanced Team-Try to have a couple of speedy guys, as well as power hitters and good average guys. Not even Ichiro can do it all. Make sure your middle infielders can steal bases, your first and third basemen can hit the long ball, your outfielders are good in most categories, and you catcher won't hurt your averages.

Don't Waste Any Picks-Stay off the "Who to Avoid" list, and try not to draft any over-rated players (Mike Piazza, Derek Jeter, Barry Bonds). Make sure that all of your early picks will help your team.

Don't be Biased-
Remember, even if every home run you hit is a game winner, it's still a home run.

Pitchers
Keep the ERA Down
-Make sure that all of your pitchers' ERA is around 4.0. If you have to choose between the ERA guy and the K-Man, take the ERA guy. They have a better chance to go deep in to a game, and they get more wins.

Take One or Two Set up Guys-If you get a good one, he won't hurt your ERA, and maybe he'll add some wins without wasting valuable innings.

Get Good Closers-Don't be afraid to use a second or third pick on a closer. The closer is the most underrated position in fantasy sports. If you don't have any good closers, you will be sorry by mid July.

Stay Balanced-If you have a couple K-Man with ERAs around 5, and other guys with ERAs around 3, your in good shape. Just make sure it averages to around 4

  General Info

Dont Waste Games and Innings
-In the beginning of the season most people get excited and play everyone, even struggling players. This is a good way to be finished your season in August. To avoid this, bench your struggling guys instead of dropping them. Let them ride the bench until they get their act together,

Use Two for One's Effectively-To save games and innings, try to have a couple of superstars and average guys than a lot of good players. A good way to accomplish this is a trade like this one. Player One (20 home runs, 75 RBIs, 10SBs) and Player Two (20 home runs, 75 RBIs, and 10SBs) for Player Three (40 home runs, 150 RBIs, and 20SBs). This is good because you are getting similar stats from one guy. Even if Player Three's stats are a little below One and Two's, it is still a good deal.

Don't Waste Early Picks on Deep Positions-You can get a quality 1B, OF, or SP in the 7th or 8th round. Instead of taking these positions early, take a middle infielder, catcher, or closer.
