: ..... Sabai-phrae-wa ; the phrae-wa shoulder
cloth ; a shawl , a wrap formerly used by a
woman to wrap around her chest and back. When
one end of the wrap is brought over the shoulder
, it is called Sabai [ Shouldercloth ]
; Sabai-mai-phrae-wa, a crosswise-line
design in pattern. The main colors are red minor dark
brown " Lai-luang
" or 2 color yarns to weave. The other
pieces were designed in various patterns , a
multicolored designs such as jok-dow [ 5 color
yarns ] , lai-ko [ 7 to 9 color yarns ] and
the special pattern [ 12 color yarns ]
