The
Bakerloo Line runs from Elephant and Castle in South London to
Harrow and Wealdstone in the North. From Queens Park, the line
shares tracks with Silverlink Metro Services. It covers 14 and
a half miles and serves 25 stations, of which fifteen are either
managed by other tube lines, or Silverlink. In 2000, the
Bakerloo Line carried 100.4 million passengers, Oxford Circus was
the busiest station with just over 38.6 million people passing
through it during the year. At present, there is only one
downloadable route for the Bakerloo Line, created by Paul Jobber for
BVE. The route is a fantastic piece of work with stations
recreated with a great attention to detail. If you are a
regular user of the Bakerloo Line, you'll quickly see just how much
detail has gone into this route, from the scissors cross over at
Elephant and Castle, to the approaching light at the end of the
tunnel as you near Queens Park.
