The Blog has been eliminated because too many of the posts were being made by TCC members pretending to be anti TCC to make others look bad.

I am nobody! At least that is what I began to think when I did a little digging. There was a post on TCC that made reference to there being "private sections that the general membership does not have access to". It was further stated or implied that some of the more "respected members" posted in that section to avoid the general membership. After a couple of additional posts the thread was quickly locked by one of the moderators. In the following weeks there were additional posts in other threads that made reference to posts that were made in the "open forum". If there are posts being made in the "open forum" there must be posts in a forum or forums that was not open to the general membership.

Then there were some posts made that specifically made reference to a section called FOV. This got me thinking and I started to dig a little. Not to go into great details but some people need much better passwords. Anyway, sure enough there is a private section that only a small number, less than 1%, of the general membership has access to view and participate. That's right, less than 50 of the 5,000+ members are allowed in this private section. I could understand if it was a section for moderators or those that run the site. However, this section is not just for moderators or those running the site, it is for the privileged or special collectors, those that have a connection directly to Scotty and the Studio or are close friends to the guys that do. If these people wanted a private special area would it not be better to just start a different site and make it completely private?

The private section was called the "Old Boys Club" and was started by the original site administrator, Mr. Doug, and Bill Vogeney was a member of and participated in the OBC from the start. It looks like those that had original access were the moderators and a few of their close personal friends. In January of 2007 Bill Vogeney took over the site and in the summer of 2007 the OBC name was changed to "Friends Of Vog". Shortly thereafter elvogo started a FOV membership drive to add members. New additions were other FOV that could contribute information to the private section and with whom they could buy and sell with at special prices.

This private section was a place where the elite FOV'ers could bash the general members and consummate private deals. Viewing some of the threads and posts in that section was a real eye opener. The most blatant bashers were the site administrator (elvogo) and his moderators. No doubt that they were hand picked by Scotty because they best represent Scotty's true feelings about those that collect his merchandise and those that do not use a Scotty Cameron putter or that talk about other putter makers.

Have you ever wondered what those that "run" the TCC really think about the average Joe like me or you that only has or had one or maybe a few Cameron's? Quote from 007Bluto, October 2006: "...1 putter isnt a collection, that should be grounds enough to ban him...". Are we nothing more than the high school geeks that these elite and privileged people abuse for their entertainment and profit? Are you one of the "assholes", "dick heads", etc. that these Studio connected individuals that were hand picked by Scotty talk about in private?

Since this site became public elvogo has removed or edited every single post in the FOV section so that there is no evidence that it ever existed. He also confirmed in the general forum that every quoted post below was in fact posted in the FOV section. Are not these guys close friends with Scotty Cameron? Are not these guys the same guys that Scotty wanted in control of the TCC when the moderator "upheaval" took place in January of 2007 and Mr. Doug was forced out? Read some of these posts and you will know what happened: See post #21 on the page linked below titled "Need some FOV feedback on other putter makers."

What these guys are posting and who they really are is a direct reflection of who and what Scotty Cameron really is and stands for. I guess this is how Scotty Cameron wanted the site to be run. Does this mean that Scotty thinks we are "assholes" and "dick heads" and we should be paying more for his stuff than the elite and privileged pay. After all, aren't these guys the "mouthpiece" for the Studio, isn't that why Scotty forced a changing of the guard, so he could control the content of the TCC?

Bill Vogeney, acting as the agent of The Cameron Collector, L.L.C., has claimed ownership and copyright of all the posts on CameronCollector.com. Communications he has sent to Yahoo, Inc. would also lead you to believe that he is taking credit for the creation of the posts and in fact calls this information his "intellectual property", even though the posts were originally made by dozens of different people. Nothing like taking credit for other peoples work. Oh yea I forgot, Scotty Cameron has been doing that for decades. When viewing these posts you will see how some moderators have gone back to change their comments after the original post was made. Review the time stamps on the posts, the follow up posts and the "edit" notation to see when the original post was made and when it was edited. You will soon conclude that many of the moderators say a lot of things that they later change. When they try and spin something one way and what they say is pointed out as bull shit or inappropriate they have no problem in going back to change what they said and then pretend that what they originally said never existed. Can you ever believe what people like this tell you? Is every word that comes out of their mouths complete BS?

Three things you can be sure will happen once the knowledge of the the information presented here becomes public.

First, there will be a major house cleaning in the private sections of the TCC and much if not all of these types of posts will be removed or edited to allow plausible deniability.  (The week after Thanksgiving 2007, the "house cleaning" has begun. The entire FOV section was removed so that no one could view the vile and ugly things that Scotty's Boys were saying about the general membership. The only permanent record of some of these posts are what you can see via the links below.)

Second, most of the moderators and active members in FOV will take every opportunity to try and distance themselves and deny the existence of these and the other posts or claim that they are being misunderstood. You can bet that they will even claim to Scotty and others that they never posted these comments or that somehow a mistake must have been made.

Third, you will hear a bunch of meaningless apologizes from the people that run and control the site trying to convince you that they knew nothing about these types of posts and it will never happen again. Expect to hear something like "Please trust us and we will make it up to you." and that big changes are in the works for TCC.

I am sure that many people will be upset with me as I am the messenger bearing news and information that some did not want others to see. I will end up being the bad guy and I must have some axe to grind. The only problem I have is that I hate being called an asshole, dick head, etc. and I hate being taken advantage of by people I looked up to and thought were my friends. For the better part of the past year and a half I thought I was an appreciated member of TCC and an unofficial "Friend Of Vog's" and a friend of Scotty's. I now think that I am just one of many thousands of people that have been lead to the table and invited to have a drink so that I could spend money on "collectables" and in doing so I was increasing the wealth and stroking the egos of a few. Are we nothing more than an ATM machine for Scotty Cameron and his cronies. It is very disheartening to find out that some people you respected act so differently behind closed doors.

One other point to remember when reading these posts:

Knowing what has gone on it certainly seems like the current moderators are speaking for and on behalf of Vog and Scotty. When Scotty instigated the "coup" against the previous owner and moderators of TCC, he made sure that unless "his boys" were running the place, he would not support the site. So when you see one of "his boys" calling another member an asshole or dick head or making other derogatory comments, it is no different than if the words are coming from the mouth of Scotty. The administration is responsible for the acts and actions of there underlings. The Studio, Scotty and Titleist - THE BUCK STOPS THERE!
