Comments:
This is great! We just had an EAL get-together today here in Middletown with 25 ex-fa's in attendance. So many laughs and it seemed we'd never been apart. Pictures were taken and will be forwarded to The Crew Lounge.   Nancy Dodd

...........and now thanks once again to Fred Shimandle, here are the pictures.

Nancy Dodd once again resumed her passion as an "airline hostess" by hosting this gathering of flight attendants  in her  home in Middletown, NJ.  (Airline Hostess, an archaic name for flight attendant has long since been degenderized to Flight Attendant.)  When school starts in the fall, Nancy will be teaching 4th graders.

This is how EWR Flight Attendants greet each other.

EWR F/A MARTY MORAN
There were three of the funniest guys on the seniority list, practically in sequence;  JFK's Victor Kostelak*,  MIA's Pete Bishop and EWR's Marty Moran (in the photo above left).  I was fortunate enough to be in the midst of these three comedians.  MAC flights were based upon system seniority, allowing for each of us from different bases to fly together.  If you flew with any of them, you know what I am talking about.  ............can you imagine what it was like to be on a flight with all three at the same time!!!!!!  I was !!!  LOL

F/A's Fred Shimandle, Sue Tiberg, Marty Moran and ?
According to Fred, there was some kind of an auction taking place (perhaps a modern adaptation of the old fashioned "grab bag" of my era.)  There were lots of coveted EAL memorabilia, I guess this T-shirt was among the prizes.  That is Sue Tiberg between Fred Shimandle and Marty Moran.  Does anyone remember a picture that appeared in the EAL Falcon News many years ago captioned "The Flying Tibergs" ?   No, it wasn't a trapeze act.   Sue, a flight attendant and her brother, a pilot, were pictured in the cockpit of one of  EAL's planes with their father, Captain Al Tiberg (from Colonial Airlines).  Fred, who was on that flight, was not part of that "act".  He and F/A Vic Kostelak*  just came along to work the flight.

If you were at this get together, please let me know who the "guests with no names" are.  Thanks!
