off great website.
I was an employee of Horizon
Airlines out of SEA from 1982-1988. We were first ground handled by EAL
SEA then went on to do own but sitll our gate was adjacent to EAL. Had
many good friends.
I build 1/72 scale models.
Colonial Airlines had one of the prettiest paint schemes for their DC-3s.
I would like to obtain a color photograph of a Colonial DC-3. I am willing
to pay all associated cost.

I am just wondering if any
of those old Colonial folks might have a photograph of a DC-3 in Canadian
Colonial Airways livery? I have been desperately trying to get one for
a long time. Tried
everywhere.....especially
the Canadian musuems but to avail. I'm beginning to think nobody
ever took a picture of one. I was wondering if someone associated
with Colonial, (the name was changed in 1941) might be able to dig around
and get one for me?. Maybe a captain who flew with
'em.....anyway I need it for
a book I am doing on the airlines of the 30s-40s and 50s. I have
a vast collection of airliner photos from that era but no Canadian Colonial.
Can anybody out there help???!!!
