Should I make this one Speak Only in Questions Week? Topic 1) What I've Learned: - By Me (Cat)
Even though school's been out for over a month, I have still been learning. Here's what I've found out, for the benefit of myself and others (or "mice, elf and otters"):
--Too many people go to the movies on July 4th.
--It's now illegal for me to drive with more than one other teenager in the car until October.
--A scary 21 year-old high school dropout wants to date me.
--That Jeff guy on Who's Line is hot.
--Two-thirds of the world's eggplant is grown in New Jersey.
--I look cuter with curly hair, like I had for our Jazz Show.
--Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is the fear of big words.
--Charlie Chaplain once won third prize in a Charlie Chaplain look-alike contest.
--Bandanas can actually fit as shirts (especially with my small chest!).
--The first couple to be shown in bed together on prime time television were Fred and Wilma Flintstone.
--Bojana's hips have acquired a mind of their own.
--Moshpits can actually be friendly.
--Cats want to take over the world. (Ok, I already knew that before, you got me...)
Hey, I never said I was learning anything useful. It's still summertime, y'know. Topic 2) Holey Balls - By Kim "egotistical-self-centered-strange-procrastinating-perfectionistic-fragile-dictator" Larson
Not that you care but I thought I would share with you my thoughts on bowling alleys. Ya know the only problem with going to bowling alleys is the stench that follows you home; it permeates your clothes and your hair and your belongings. It's just vile! It still lingers even after taking a shower! Oh, the horrors! But that's okay, bowling is entertaining to watch as long as you don't take it too seriously. Topic 3) Cat's Song of the Week:
"James K. Polk" by They Might Be Giants. [Loser rock at its finest!] Man, I wish I would've known this song before I took US History . . . Topic 3) Webpage of the Week:
www.garageband.com Topic 4) Quote of the Week:
"Beer commercials are so patriotic: 'Made the American Way.' What does that have to do with America? Is that what America stands for? Feeling sluggish and urinating frequently?" - Evelyn Waugh Closing:
See you all when I get back from relaxing in beautiful, sunny Florida. I'll bring back some fresh sand to share with y'all. (Yummy!)
