Paper Mario is a fun Mario game. It has everything any RPG has. challenge, aAdventure, puzzles, and exciting turn based battles. The turn based battles make for the need of strategic battle plans. Without them, you'll never win a battle. But planning isn't easy as pie. You can only carry up to ten battle items at a time and you have limited power as to how many times you can use certain attacks. That power grows as you win battles. I bought the game and I play it every bit as much as I do my Zelda games. It has excellent graphics. Although the people look like people from the original games, the backgrounds, ambiances, and settings are very colorful, and realistic.
It has things not all Mario games have. You can play as Peach in bonus levels and the battles are very fun. You get to attack once with Mario and once with his partner. You will find several partners as the adventure progresses but you can only use one at a time.
Overall, the game is challenging, but not too challenging and it is RPG fun. I give it four stars!
