My Friends!!
Well, for those of you who know me, you will be aware that I'm not a person who becomes very close with very many people. I tend to be rather a private person and thus don't always find it easy to become close to others.. When I do so, however, that person becomes a friend for life and these are the people I count my closest, my best friends.
Some of them I've known my entire life. We were childhood friends together and have gone through everything together. My two oldest and dearest friends are Georgia and Sharon. Although distance and experiences have separated us on occasion, we've come through it, and our friendship has only been made stronger.
Some of them I became close to in part due to their 'then' relationships with good friends of mine. These people include, Shayne, Richard, Mark, and others..
Some of them I became friendly with during my high school years - Jolie, Reshma, Patrice, Fern.
Some of them I met later on, during my university days. The person I am probably closest to, from my university days, is my ex-housemmate Jen, mother of my adorable god child Benjamin, and wife of Jason. We lived in the same house for three years, and survived the experience!! *laugh*
Actually, we always got along very well with our housemates. There were seven of us in the house each year, and although we remained friendly with people from all three years, it was in our final year that Jen and I became very close friends with others in the house - Andrea, Neal, Chris, Vlad, Suzie, and the honorary members of the house of course, Maria, and Danny. And of course, Charmaine and Francois, Kevin, Ricky, Tania, Cindy, Mike, Mark.. That was a great year for so many reasons!! *smile*
During my years in Canada, Jen and I became friendly with several people we met originally online. Actually, one of my closest friends today is Toddly. He has actually helped with my webpage in two ways - prodding me to work on updating it, and some research. For those who aren't aware of where exactly Trinidad is located as well as have little knowledge of it, Todd had put together part of the section on Trinidad, because before meeting me he had little to no clue of where Trinidad was. Once he did know, he felt inclined to share this knowledge with others because he believes that one can never be too knowlegeable.
And some of them I met later on, after I started working with American Airlines.. and this list would actually include most everyone I work with. I think we all tend to get along fairly well at our office.
