American Flyer Accessories For Sale
(last updated September 18, 2009)
I am helping three people sell their collections.  This page lists the used American Flyer Accessories that I have received from them.  These are in hand and ready to ship upon receipt of payment.
I show 2008 Greenberg book values for reference purposes, but these should not be interpreted as asking prices. Make an offer they can't refuse!  Email me: theupstairstrain@yahoo.com.  Please include your address so I can calculate shipping charges and send you an invoice with the total.

Separate pages show:

-
engines & handcars
- freight cars

passenger cars

-
parts
- other stuff
K771 Stockyard made in 1953-1956, all original C-8, $135.
The vibrating mat and control button/switch both work well.  All windows are there and secure.
It comes with adjusting wrench, instructions, eight cows, a 976 stock car, and wires that look like they've never been cut.  One brown cow has had its felt replaced.
This shows the windows all in place.  If you never knew how to adjust the vibration level, here's how.  Yes, the original adjusting wrench is the same one that came with Gilbert's Erector Sets.
The instructions have some little tears and are fragile, but they are complete and readable.
The accompanying 976 Stock Car is also in C-8 condition, with brake wheel, door handles and nibs, and brake wheel.  There are no chips in the catwalk and no rust anywhere.  I cleaned the wheels and they are in beautiful condition.  The vibrating mat works well moving the cows in and out of the car.
Three Lionel #310 billboards.  The plastic is in excellent condition but the cardboard inserts show their age.
$8.00 each.

In addition, there is a separate Frigidaire cardboard insert that is more worn than the others.  $1.00.
Three #704 Manual Uncouplers.  All three work like new. $1.00 each.
771 Stockyard made in 1950-1954, C-5 cleanable to C-6 (except where the track tray is scratched), $60.
The vibrating mat and control button/switch both work well.
All windows are there; I will secure the loose ones.
It comes with eight cows and a 736 stock car.  The track terminal seen in this picture is not included.
(I just recently received this stockyard. This picture is one she sent me earlier; I will provide better ones.)
The #736 operating stockcar car that comes with it has link couplers.
She sent a bag of cows with replacement felt bases.  Four black and four brown will go with this stockyard.
The others are available for individual sale at $2.50 each.
I have not yet tested all of them, but the eight that I tested wandered a bit in the pen, but did climb the ramp into the car.
705 remote control uncoupler.  Button and uncoupler work great; track is clean, nice, and rustfree.  $8.
Stay tuned!  There are lots more coming.
