COPYRIGHTnotice
All Artwork, stories and original characters contained within this website, unless stated otherwise, are © 1996-2003 to Melissa 'Mel' Miller. All subjects (ie television shows, comic books, movies, etc) to which I have created fanart (ie Dr. Quinn, Harry Potter, The Patriot, Xmen, etc) are © to their respective creators and companies. These works are created purely for my own entertainment, and absolutely no profit is being made off of these works.  I DO NOT tolerate theft of my work in any way, shape or form. My stories and artwork are not to be stolen, copied, reproduced, altered, sold, or posted upon other websites without my direct permission. Anyone who takes it upon themselves to do so WILL face immediate legal action, as well as the acute thrill of being ripped a new asshole.

Curious as to how I can claim copyright over my works? Not sure just what these copyrights entail? Here's your answers:

According to the U.S. Copyright Office,
"Copyright protection subsists from the time the work is created in fixed form. The copyright in the work of authorship immediately becomes the property of the author who created the work. Only the author or those deriving their rights through the author can rightfully claim copyright." In other words, my artwork is legally bound to me, and no one else. Ripping me off is not an option. Play nice, and I'll be a happy puppy. Don't steal. Its not nice, and I'm not too nice to folks who steal from me. Good? Good.
