Meditation is something everyone has heard of whether they associate it with yoga, new age. magick or wicca. It is also something that, I believe, everyone should know how to do as it will help you to de-stress, relax, or with divination. It can also be done any where and at any time as long as you are able to concentrate.

Exercise:
Close your eyes or focus on an object and begin to regulate your breathing. 1-2-3, in and out. Try and clear your mind; if you begin to think about something clear it out or finish it. Just breathe and try to image the energy/sunshine/warmth/cold soak through you. Try to do this for 5-15 minutes. Hopefully you’ll feel refreshed at the end of this and remember there is no right or wrong way to do this.

Suggestions:
- Get comfortable (but not too comfortable as you don’t want to fall asleep).
- If you think it will help play some music (I find that even the sound of a heater buzzing works) or focus on an object (in your mind or in front of you).

Notes:
- Meditation comes easily to some while with others it takes lots of practice.
- Try the simplest methods first as they are easier to grasp.
- At first practice when you are alone as there are fewer distractions.
