My name is Yvonne and I live in the beautiful
"Show
Me State" of Missouri.
I was born and raised in Missouri.
After graduating High School, I went to St. Louis to work for
Southwestern Bell as a long distance operator. Two years later
I married my wonderful, faithful and trustworthy husband. We
have 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl. I had twin boys, but God
chose for reasons that he only knows, to take one of them
home.
We started riding a motorcycle in 1977. We joined
the Moto Guzzi Club (and are still life-time members), the
Retreads and the Gold Wing Club. We've gone to a lot of
rallies all over the country and met a lot of very nice
people.
After Frank retired, we quit putting in a garden
except for tomato plants and started building flower beds and
putting in shrubbery. We enjoy our yard very much, even though
it is a lot of work. Oh, my aching back! Weed pulling,
digging, planting! I enjoy every minute that I’m out in the
yard and am rewarded by the beautiful flowers. I’ll let you in
on a secret: it’s more fun than cleaning the house. Now
everything would be perfect if I had a housekeeper.
I don’t have any musical or artistic talents,
like a lot of people I know (wish I did---would love to be
able to sing).
I have been into putering close to 20 years, but
just got on the internet in the fall of 1999. I have enjoyed
chatting with people all over the world. Some of them, I
consider very special to me. I go by the chat name of
Happysue_2
and chat with a great group of people in Yahoo
60+.
