Early 24th Century
- Introduction - When the end of the 23rd century approached, Starfleet finding itself
in a predicament. There had been virtually no new starships developed. They decided that they would greatly change the size of their starships. Larger starships left Federation drydocks everywhere. One of the first starships to come out of the 24th century was the Constellation class, which had four warp nacelles for greater speeds.
Antares Class - A widely used vessel in the Alpha Quadrant. Primarily used for cargo or civilian transport. Ships of note from this class include:
