Aged 18 days
A dream that would come true
We'd pray to God with all our hearts
For yesterday and you
A thousand words can't bring you back
We know because we've tried
And neither can a million tears
We know because we've cried
You left behind our broken hearts
And happy memories too
We never wanted memories though
We only wanted you!!
Though she could only stay with us for 18 days, her memory will always live on in our hearts.
The pain we feel today is indescribable,
but it can never compare with the joy we felt when we held her in our arms.
We try not to cry because its over,
But smile because she happened.
Through all the pain and heartache,
one thing we know is that
we wouldn't have missed it for the world!!
Lucy, we miss you so much,
but we love you even more!!
