Welcome to Guinness's page!
Guinness entered our lives in October 1989, as an 8 week old puppy.  We had bought her purely as a companion, and she was always wonderful at that!  But, by chance, Guinness was to become a lot more than that.  She is the cornerstone of our fabulously successful breeding program, every dog carrying the Ubersein prefix is descended from her.

We stumbled into the show/breeding world after a number of people at the Rottweiler Club of Victoria's obedience venue commented on her conformation attributes.  Having not had any experience what-so-ever of a dog show, we were not in a hurry to get involved, but, by the time Guinness was a year old, we entered a couple of shows with (then) new friends Cameron and Glenice Miller, who were also new to the show scene with their dog (and Guinness' great love) Oscar (Ch. Tepavili Dante [A]).

Guinness gave a good account of herself in the show ring, despite her awkward handler (myself Louise), winning many large challenges and age in group awards.  But her greatest achievements were in the whelping box, where she produced 4 Champions (including an Australian and New Zealand Champion) in her two litters, which only totalled 11 puppies.
Her son Ch. Ubersein Bandet O Banff was Best In Show at the 1996 National Rottweiler Specialty Show, from an entry exceeding 300 Rottweilers.
Her daughter Ch. Ubersein Abbey Ablaze [A] CD took out Best Brood Bitch with progeny from her first litter.
Guinness features in the pedigree of dozens of Champion, V Rated and Specialty winning Rottweilers, many of whom have been bred and enjoyed by others.
Above all, though, Guinness was a wonderful companion and a true and loyal friend.  We enjoyed 12 years of your companionship Guinness, but you will always live on for us.
