tu eres mi mariposa
he once said to me "mi mariposa tu eres mi amor" and
-fluttered-
away to sing of sweet nightingales that once whispered in my ear
and all became
-nothingness-

scenes of today
impressions
fleeting and vast
swirl around me
lost in a hazy fog
of kaleidoscope colors
i am
i am
waiting for a perhaps answer
or a perhaps solution
to a question i never asked [perhaps...]
thoughtful
~waiting~
in a miragesque train station
dreaming for/something more/than a dream
~silence surrounds~
echoes the nothingness
and the translucence
~looking at you~
with opaque eyes
a blistering silence envelopes
and surrounds me
like a cold white
----cloud----
~hush~

Homage to capitalism
zero degree centrigade
~smiles~
staring back at me
devoid of laughter
clothed in pale cream
~they stare~
fountains stream towards/ the stratosphere/unable
to
reach an unforgiving sky
~plastic glitters~
and plastic smiles
~i walk/in the midst/of it all~
amused by the irony of life
meaningless slips of paper
exchanged for meaningless items
bringing meaningless smiles
on meaningless faces
that mean nothing
~nothing~
