Representatives of the 21st Ohio meet with Robert Neibling, a descendent of Colonel James Neibling, in Destin, FL, on August 6,  2005.  Colonel Neibling was the commanding officer of the original 21st Ohio from 1861-1864.  The sword in the picture is Neibling's original service sword from the war.  (From L to R: Brad Quinlin, Robert Neibling, Mark Stibitz, Josh Haugh, Sue Howell, Sean Quinlin.)

The ladies of Harriet Brubaker Tent #139, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-1865, have put together two cookbooks from some of the best recipes in northwestern Ohio.  All proceeds go to a different Civil War-related project each year.

"A Few Of Our Favorites, Book I" sells for $6 and "A Few Of Our Favorites, Book II" sells for $12.
