  Presumably, it was the recent completion of this long, low building that induced the proud owners to hire a professional photographer to make the trek to take this photograph.  The people standing in the doorway are unidentified.

   These remaining buildings in the 1864 photo are unidentified (is that an outhouse in the center of the photo?).  Is that corn that has been planted?  The age of the fruit trees in the orchard appears consistent with an occupancy by Ross and Mary from 1855 - 1864.
