Character Psionic Abilities

Note: Admiral M'Benga and Howell Bridger are both mutated humans with abilities that they held from birth. Dusty James had her psi invisibility from an early age, possibly another mutation. Emy Band'h is a genetically enhanced hyrbid of both Vulcan and Betazed heritage. T'Kan is another hybrid, Vulcan and human. Bherran is, like, Emy, a hybrid of Vulcan and Betazed genetic inheritance. All of these persons are listed here because of exposure to Kironide, with the exception of M'Benga. Other members of the Knight crew have been exposed to trace kironide, but have not gained remarkable abilities. Several other members of the crew have psi abilities based on their racial heritage, but these are not remarkable in the millieu of their birth.

One other note: (Added during the mission on Aebrynnis) While the Aebrynnian dimension is very similar to ours, the laws of physics are subtly different, and can cause the expression of psi abilities in new ways. Magic, as most Aebrynnians practice it, draws on suboperant psi abilities, and makes use of a huge cache of kironide located in the Godchamber of the area in which the Deismaar battle is occurring. Some things that characters can do in Aebrynnis, they will not be able to do in the regular universe. For instance, Bridger noticed a quantum leap in his psi healing abilities. What he learned will not fade, but it will work differently and not as well, in the real ST universe. The raw power levels that David Poirot can practice, will have more of a problem effect on his mind in the ST universe -- something that has made the other 'power user' TK, the NPC Al Khutspe, very wary of using his TK abilities. There IS a reason that Psions are mad -- their powers literally drive them insane!

Others who had exposure to kironide on the Knight would be Grant Lightoller, Naral Darven, Rej Bherran, and Entor Calsanni. And a few (very few) NPCs. Oh, and Sonali Bendre -- it gave her nothing, and accelerated her genetic encoding problem that may eventually kill her.
